Aung San Suu Kyi's inexcusable silence

Aung San Suu Kyi was a moral icon, a human rights champion - so why has she been silent about the Rohingya Muslims?

I want to take Donald Trump to the cleaners. I am watching The Donald's next move with impatience, and how to make it backfire, while making large sums of money at his expense. Someone else, with more time than me, will have to take the Burmese elite to the cleaners.

The Peace Prize Committee doesn't have the legal authority to withdraw the Prize. At most, it could make a statement of revocation of laureate status. Doing so would just lead to endless political circus, as all kinds of controversial awardings would come under fire, and each revocation would cause calls for further revocations of similar cases. Soon the committee wouldn't be able to do anything else than monitor laureates for causes for revocation.

Obama got a peace prize, what does that tell you? These peace prizes are divvied out to Zionist war pigs and the sycophants of the West these days. It is purely a political gesture.

For as long as they don't do that, they will suffer, possibly worse than the Jews.

Seriously, this is really aweful and inhumane. If you are weak of heart or squeemish, pass on the second video, seriously.

As for Aung San Suii Kyi, she's afraid of her monks... I mean, who wouldn't be? They kill you then eat you. Sheesh.

They are a minority, so they must be good and peaceful if they want to survive. Violence begets violence and if you are a weak minority you will always lose. The Jews suffered but now they have won, because they sacrificed some to strengthen the Zionist movement and now rule the Western world.

Your ignorance is astounding.

The Rohingya are a simple people, village farmers - second class citizens in Myanmar/Burma since 1948... yeah, same year both Myanmar/Burma and Palestine were hijacked - I mean, recognised as independent.

You, Krik, are expecting a simple farming folk who are on the run for their lives to become a political force - dude, you're insane.

I cite to you, Palestine, who actually had political representation from the Muslim nations and even then, that didn't get them far... hubris, is what you entertain bro.

I prefer to see reality as it is, this way I can determine if there can be solutions. Or nay. What I don't do is wishfully want the Rohingya to somehow magically become a political force with financiers and sponsors coupled with a massive media wing that can take on the LameStream MSM.

Four years since this recent flare up in the killing of Ronhingya Muslims, and not one Muslim nation has made an issue out of it.

Reason? We don't exactly have "leaders" we trust. Haven't had them since... well heck, even the Ottoman khaliphate was a joke - handed down from father to son - more a Kingship than a Khaliphate.

I'll probably get lynched by Muslims for saying this, but I'm well pleased the Ottomans were over thrown.

The Macedonian leader immediately sized up the Persian's tactical advantage and countered by ordering his cavalry to shift to the right hoping to move his enemy away from its flat field. Darius took the bait ordering his troops to follow. Soon the Persians found themselves on rough, rock-strewn terrain. Seeing the thinning Persian line, Alexander led the charge that crashed through to the Persian rear. As at the battle of Issus, Darius fled, leaving the field and victory to Alexander.

Of Alexander's men about 100 were killed and more than 1000 of his horses; either from wounds or exhausted in the pursuit. . . Of the Barbarians there are said to have been 300,000 slain, and far more taken prisoners than were killed.

Most early accounts place the size of the Muslim forces between 24,000 and 40,000 and the number of Byzantine forces between 100,000 and 400,000. On 20 August 636, the final day of the battle,[80] Khalid put into action a simple but bold plan of attack. With his massed cavalry force he intended to drive the Byzantine cavalry entirely off the battlefield so that the infantry, which formed the bulk of the imperial army, would be left without cavalry support and thus would be exposed when attacked from the flanks and rear.

The Byzantines retreated west towards Wadi-ur-Ruqqad where there was a bridge at Ayn al Dhakar for safe crossing across the deep gorges of the ravines of Wadi-ur-Ruqqad.[75] Dharar had already captured the bridge as part of Khalid's plan the night before. A unit of 500 mounted troops had been sent to block this passageway. In fact, this was the route by which Khalid wanted the Byzantines to retreat all along. The Byzantines were surrounded from all sides now. Some fell into the deep ravines off the steep slopes, others tried to escape in the waters, only to be smashed on the rocks below and again others were killed in their flight. Immediately after this operation was over, Khalid and his mobile guard moved north to pursue the retreating Byzantine soldiers; he found them near Damascus and attacked.

Above the minimum critical number, even a factor 20 does not make any difference. A combat group of 5,000 fighters can easily terminate an army of 100,000. In fact, the smaller group even has the advantage that they have fewer assets to protect.
