Message:

all the divine revelations have had the same lofty objectives, which are:

1. To affirm the Oneness of God - the praised and glorified Creator – in His essence and His attributes.

2. To affirm that God alone should be worshipped and that no other being should be worshipped along with Him or instead of Him.

3. To safeguard human welfare and oppose corruption and evil. Thus, everything that safeguards faith, life, reason, wealth and lineage are part of this human welfare that religion protects. On the other hand, anything that endangers these five universal needs is a form of corruption that religion opposes and prohibits.

4. To invite the people to the highest level of virtue, moral values, and noble customs.

-----------------

Narated By Talha bin 'Ubaid-Ullah RA : A bedouin with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle PBUH and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied: "You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night (24 hours), unless you want to pray Nawafil."

The bedouin further asked, "Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied, "You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast more as Nawafil."

The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much Zakat Allah has enjoined on me." Thus, Allah's Apostle informed him about all the rules (i.e. fundamentals) of Islam.

The bedouin then said, "By Him Who has honored you, I will neither perform any Nawafil nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me.

Allah's Apostle said, "If he is saying the truth, he will succeed (or he will be granted Paradise)."

On the authority of Abi Abdillah Jabir ibn Abdillah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with both of them) who said: “A man asked the Prophet (sallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam), “Tell me if I were to perform the obligatory [prayers], fast in Ramadhan, treat the lawful as permissible and treat the forbidden as unlawful and I do not add anything to that, would I enter Paradise?” He [the Prophet (sallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam)] answered, “Yes”.

La hawla wa la quwwata illah billah. My brother! There is no might and no power except with Allaah. Has the feeble shaytaan been able to catch a believer by the neck? What have you spent the days doing that it has reached this stage?

I just wish Allah took me to Jannah, I had enough of this trial.

I felt stronger in my Imaan before I started praying............ The thoughts are burdensome. Allah made Islam easy, but apparently it is not for me. So why did Allah make it hard for me?

I just don't feel it anymore. The sweetness of Imaan.

Is this because you went to extremes in your purification and burdened yourself with it? Are you still using water on your sore hands despite Allaahs concession?

Are you making it harder for yourself by not listening to the guidelines of the Prophet :saws1: regarding your wiswaas? Are u burdening yourself by responding to these doubts & thoughts from shaytaan?

My brother, how will Allah have mercy upon us if we do not have mercy upon ourselves. And how will we be guided if we do not follow the Islamic advice. And how will we be protected from the shaytaan if we spend the majority of our day in thoughts and doubts and not reading our adhkaar (duas) to keep the shaytaan away.

Not just this brother, but we need some physical strength too. There's this huge weight over you - so much burden, so much stress, so much thought - constantly. In all your posts - you sound like you are fighting a battle. Do you know for our minds to be healthy n positive we also need a certain amount of nutrients. When feeling like this - a glass of water or milk with honey or banana for the potassium - a lack of which causes a person to constantly over think...think think think n not stop. And this depletes our supply even more. You need essential fats like coconut oil, walnuts + cucumbers. Almonds n black strap Molasses for B complex n magnesium to relax you. Good nutrition is vital for our mind and immediately makes us feel better n more in control. This cannot be stressed enough.

May Allah give you the ability and strength to implement what advice everyone has been giving you - because it is only then that you will be able to overcome this burdensome problem. Please be easy on yourself brother. May Allah make it easy for you. Aameen.

My hands are healed somewhat, Alhamdulillah.

I never use more than 5/6 minutes in wudhu.

So what are the guidelines from the Prophet Muhammad :saw: ? I know that one should ignore and turn to the Quran, say one's adkhar, etc.

I think I will start by reciting the 3 quls again throughout the day.

All I ask for is Allah to guide me, nothing else. I don't care about anything else, as long as I have Imaan.

Shaytaan is filling me with doubts whenever I try to ignore, and when I engage, I get confused. So I better just ignore and stick to what I know, cuz I know that what I know is from the Quran. That is where I learnt it from.

Wa alaikum salam.

The Sister is absolutely right. Our body has its rights too. A Sahaba (host) was forced to break his Nafl fast by the honoured sahaba Salman Al Farsi RA who was his guest since he denied eating since the host did not eat due to his fast. In the night the guest watched host again standing for prayer without sleeping with his wife so Salman farsi RA forced him to go to bed with his wife and sleep first and to pray thajjudh later.

The NEXT DAY the host complained it to Nabi :saws: who declared Salman the Persia (farsi) was right since your wife , your body has its rights. So Bro serenity take care of yourselves brother , do not trouble yourselves too much and just be conscious Allah is watching you always so call to him and speak to him your troubles. May Allah ease your waswas and strengthen eeman for all of us . Ameen

Knowledge without practice tantamount to No Knowledge .

When we know fire burns but still if i put my hand into the fire it tantamount to No Knowledge - Bro Nouman Ali Khan

Inshallah may Allah give us Hidayah to all of us to implement the little knowledge we have.

In this case, I have overburdened myself with thoughts of Shirk.

I know worship is solely and exclusively to Allah, end quote.

Now, all I should do is put my trust in Allah, and have Allah instill in me yaqeen / certainty without doubt or worriness.

Benefits of Reading La Hawla Wa La Quwwata illa BillAhil Aliyyil Azeem
wpidaayatemujaddid rd 1?w982 -
The meaning of this phrase (there is no power and
no strength except with Allah) is a person’s
admission that he is unable to do anything
without the help and support of Allaah. No matter
how great his power, energy and strength may
become, a person still cannot do anything without
the help of Allaah
Who is Above all of His
creation, the Most Great, compared to Whom
nothing else is great. Every strong person is weak
when compared with Allaah. Every great person is
insignificant and weak when compared with His
Might.
This sentence is uttered when some serious matter
befalls a person that he cannot cope with, or there
is something that it is very difficult for him to
deal with.
The following may suggest the translation of the hadith
( mafhoom ul hadith) :-
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abaas RA narrates that
RasulAllah Sallallahualaihiwasallam said, whoever has
difficulty/stress in life should read laa howla wala
quwwata illa billa hil aliyyil azeem in abundance.
You can imagine, There is lots of Benefits of Reading “La Hawla Wa La Quwwata illa BillAhil Aliyyil Azeem”
Read at least 100 Times Everyday.

:salamext:

Brother, trusting in Allah is very important but this entails something you must do actively also (i.e. With your limbs). You need to understand that the shaytaan is trying to cause you grief and burden with these wiswaas - and weaken & worry you considerably. Therefore, you need to counteract him with what causes him even more grief and pain - so that every time he burdens you with a wiswaas - you read something which will burden him more. You send something in his direction which will cause him more grief. The most hateful and grievous matter to the shaytaan is Tawheed and this causes him the most pain. Therefore you need to utter the duas with Tawheed in them such as the one brother talibilm posted and also laa ilaaha illallaah and other adhkaar (I posted some on one of your previous threads). And if it helps to do this loudly then utter it loudly, because when these words of Tawheed come from your mouth - it will send such blows to the shaytaan every time he gives you a wiswaas that he will not be able to continue in this and grieving you. Once he sees he is only causing you to read more of these powerful statements of Tawheed - he will leave you alone in shaa Allaah because it's the last thing he wants. You need to understand this. This is a fight between you and this sworn enemy and in every fight there is a strategy. He understands your weakest point and attacking the core of your peace of mind, stability and strength (Tawheed). You to understand his weakest point and target him right in the centre.

I have not listened to Quraan because of school and loads of homework. I have no headphones, so I do not listen to Quraan. I only recite Ayatul Kursi at evening.

Everyone thinks I am crazy. But I am not. Shaytaan has turned me crazy.. And I refuse to believe my teachers and doctors on what I can and can not do.

I want to listen to the Qur'aan, but have no headphones.........

I am terrible at reciting Qur'aan, I fear pronouncing wrongly.

Brother, no one thinks you as crazy because this waswas everyone of us has to pass through in some stage in life and even Sahabas succumbed to it. As its said in my last post '' la hawla laa quwata illah billah ....'' to do even a good Allah's help is neccessary without which we can't ourselves become pious or clean. Similarly even if you want to stop from bad there should be Allah's guidance, So be STEADFAST as in sura 103 and its our duty to try and Allah is watching it and he knows our effort & pain as seen here http://legacy.quran.com/53/39-41

we have to try again and again and do dua with sabur, because all fruits has its own time that Allah has fixed, its in the hikmah of Allah and it will be good in our part.
