I can´t edit my posts. Edit button seems to be on vacation. When I click it, nothing happens.

:salam:
Please check whether it works on another style, or another browser.
Are you all facing this problem? Can someone else confirm?
We will try to investigate the issue :ia:.

Thanks for advice, it works fine with other browser. (Chasing style didn´t make any difference.)

On which browser do you face this problem?

Internet Explorer 11. When I used Microsoft Edge, I can edit without problems.
Now I just have to use other browser when I want to edit some post. No problem.

Internet Explorer is known to have issues with a lot of features. Firefox or Chrome is more preferable.

I was thinking edit button was removed. I have no edit button whatsoever.
I am using Google Chrome Version 55.0.2883.75 (64-bit) on Linux Ubuntu 16.04.1

You should be able to edit after I think 25 posts it is... but the edit feature remains only for a certain amount of time, not sure but I think its a week..

I guess that would not be that of a big problem as this website i have gained ma'sha'Allah a lot of beneficial knowledge. Finally a forum that contains quality instead of useless quantity.

I have just tried to edit my post, but it has given me a double post, the original plus the edited version. Post 58 and 60

Can we have the edit feature there permanently, as opposed to disappearing after a few days?

We noticed some members were misusing the feature so we had to limit it to 3 days only. I think 3 days is sufficient for anyone to find any typos or mistakes in their posts and correct them.
If you want to edit any particular post, please post in the helpdesk and we can help you with it :ia:.
