Narration About Fajr Prayer

The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever says at the end of every Fajr prayer, while his feet are still folded, before speaking:
‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allaah, Alone without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is powerful over all things.
Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu, wa huwa alā kulli shay’in qadīr

ten times, then ten good deeds shall be written for him, ten evil deeds shall be wiped away from him, ten degrees shall be raised up for him, and he shall be in security all that day from every disliked thing—and he shall be in protection from Shaitaan—, and no sin will meet him or destroy him that day, except for associating partners with Allaah.”

Saheeh at-Targheeb, 472. At-Tirmidhee, Eng. trans., vol. 6, p. 194.

ten times at the end of al-Maghrib—Allaah shall send for him protectors to guard him from Shaitaan until he reaches morning—and Allaah writes for him ten good deeds, Mujibat (Obligating, or necessitating, that is they necessitate that he shall enter Jannah, see Tuhfatul-Ahwadhi) and He wipes from him ten of the destructive evil deeds, and it shall be for him the equal of freeing ten believing slaves.”

Awesome Benefits of Nawafil Prayers!

Allah's Messenger (saw) said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him."

His is the dominion and His is the raise, and He is Able to do all things)

Whoever says the above one Hundred times, has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds are wiped away and he has gained refuge from the devil that day until evening and none shall come with anything better except someone who has done more.[17]

Whoever says the words above ten times, then 40,000 (forty thousand) good deeds will be recorded for him.[18]

Whoever says the above words, Allah will forgive him even if he deserted the army's ranks.[19]

So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.)

The above*du'a*is known as the*Sayyid al-Istighfarand is the most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah. Whoever says it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.[20]

If someone implements ten verses of the Qur'an, He/She will not be considerate amongst the negligent on the Day of Judgment.[21]

If someone implements one hundred verses of the Qur'an, He/She will be considered among the obedient on the Day of Judgment.[22]

If someone implements one thousand verses of the Qur'an, He/She will be amongst the extremely rich on the Day of Judgement.[23]

Assalamu Alaikum

One thing that I always find admirable where I live (KSA) is that whenever I'm in a waiting room (like at a hospital), I see people taking out the quran and reading or reciting dhikr to themselves. On the streets there are reminders of dhikr everywhere randomly placed in the cities, on the streets, on poles etc.. It's such a beautiful reminder to how one can easily use their time to remember allah and there's really no excuse in saying "I'm too busy.." It can be incorporated doing anything..

Wa alaikumsalam. Agreed! One can worship anywhere at anytime. It's one of the mercy of Allah.

Offtopic: My post isn't fully showing. Don't know why. For those who want the full dhikr list you can download/print from here.

The link is much easier to read lool.

I think if you use the formatted editor (srry don't know the correct terminology), the c/p comes out weird..

Edit: i think also c/p from that document doesn't transfer well..just tried it
