View Full Version : The Truth About Gambling

I have been blessed by Allah (swt) to understand the truth of how gambling works.

See, most people think it is completely random.

But it isn't.

In fact, not only is it not random, but we can calculate how badly Allah (swt) is punishing us!

Of course, He knows best, but what I am saying is... we can figure out the consequences.

How?

Math. A universal language.

Let's say we go to the casino.

We each have $50.

We combine our money to make 1 bet on roulette.

We bet on black.

We have a 49.5% chance to win.

This means, our ROI is -1%.

Make sense?

Therefore, when we bet $100, we will either lose it, or get $100 more.

But this is where most people get confused.

We don't actually win, or lose $100.

We lose $1.

I know what you are thinking. How do we only lose $1 when the wheel landed on red and the dealer took our $100?

Well, in the SHORT TERM, we lose $100. We don't have it anymore. It is gone. You are right.

BUT, from an ETERNAL perspective, a MATHEMATICAL perspective, we are spiritually bound to get back $99 in some way, shape or form.

Alternatively, when we "win" $100, we are actually bound to lose back $101 in some way, shape or form.

Given our ROI is -1%, we bet $100 and now have $200 (when we should have $99), we will end up losing it all back somehow.

Allah (swt) knows best.

Greetings and peace be with you Reminder;

Gambling is an evil taxation, on everyone who is no good at maths.

The worst possible thing that can happen to you when you start gambling, is to win. when you win, it gives false hope of easy money, from then on, you are trapped. the odds will always beat you in the end. When you then start loosing, gambling seems to be the only lifeline to replace all the lost money.

I never said it is halal (obviously not), I'm just explaining what the consequences are.

I'm not suggesting to gamble only explaining the consequence.
