Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَالٰی عَـنْهَا, together with Prophet Muhammad’s other wives, was referred to as Ummahat-ul-Mu`mineen (Mother of the Believers). She has transmitted about 1,210 traditions (hadiths), only 300 are included in the canonical hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim.
