I have a problem with affording new shoes. If nike is haram i need to wait to afford new shoes. It is snowing and cold and there is one pair of boots that is not nike and it is getting ruined because im not wearing my nike boots. Can i wear ny nike shoes until i get new shoes my brother does not know nike is haram never asked him not sure. Im ruining other shoe that are his. Is wearing nike a act of kufr or shirk.

Don't wear if it's considered to be haram

Just curious…. why is Nike considered haraam? I have not been following at all..

So many things are said to be haraam and I seriously doubt quite a lot of these claims (not to say they are untrue) but it makes no sense to me. It is a fabric shoe. Not pig skin shoes.. We are not consuming it..

I would just wear it and if you still doubt, don't get another pair when it is time to replace them..

Fatwa that say wearing Nike haram is exaggerated fatwa that based on assumption. The founder of Nike corporation is not Hellenic pagan, and the name "Nike" was taken not to promote pagan god. So, the fatwa which say wearing Nike haram can be questioned.

You can wear your Nike shoes if you don't have other shoes and you really need shoes. Later after you have money, and you still doubt about is wearing Nike haram or halal, just buy new shoes from other brand and give your Nike to a homeless.

if muslims did adverts.

surely you should ruin your nike boots during bad weather and wear your good shoes during good weather?
