Besides being a weak hadith we quickly brand things X or Y while not everything g looks like it. For the sake of argument let's say despite being a weak hadith that he does exist. However I remember prior to ISIS people were branding Shia-sect as the khwarij. However out of nowhere came ISIS and the precise description of them.

So if sufyani would exist despite being a weak hadith don't go and brand things as such. Every modern dictator is and you could say have looked like Assaad in the sense of the actions to the people he has rule over.
