View Full Version : Muslim Believe about Other Religions

Since all the great religions were originally taught by God’s own chosen prophets, they had to be the same basic message. We do see differences, however, between them and we have to examine how this happened. After the time of every prophet, his teachings were either forgotten or distorted. Also, as a result of the changed circumstances of later times, newer and newer interpretations were introduced into the religion and gradually the essential message was polluted. This was the reason for the existence of a plurality of religions, in the place of the single Religion of God which all the prophets taught.

You covered most of it but what about the fact that everything you mentioned happened was because people deviated from the straight path.

This is something which makes me wonder that the religion is pure with the earlier generations and hence people who follow are least likely to make mistakes.

I wonder in the grand scheme of things are we part of the earlier generation of the last Prophet Muhammad (P&BBUH & his family) or is judgement day almost upon us.

Does it matter?

In an hadeeth it was mentioned that if the HOUR, was established while one is planting a sapling, then finish what one starts (plant the sapling).

And between a moral of food before it enters the mouth. May Allah grant us respite from trials of the end times. Most of which we are living in right now. We really need a proper thread about Minor and Major signs which I already mentioned because the future should be given equal importance to the past.

We can respect other religions for the sake of good relations with other religious people but we don't believe in their religions
