I am curious lanidus: what brought you to Islam? Was there some kind of community outreach where you live? Did you have friends who were Muslim?

I have felt God all along. I've always been drawn to Islam. I can't explain it really. All I know is that today I accepted that Allah is the one and only and Muhammad, peace be upon him was a remarkable man. I am not satisfied with my shahada today, I want to say it in mosque I feel I should have witnesses I don't know why but I feel that. And its not just a new way of life for me it means learning a new language

Alhamdulillah
It is completely natural to feel scared when facing with something new. But you have Allah in your heart and you have muslim and muslimah to support you.
Go ahead and say "Bismillah" before going out and I hope Allah reduce your anxiety ☺
Welcome!
