View Full Version : Why are there so many arguments out there for scientific errors in the Quran?

Are people just twisting words? Looking out of context? Or as they say.... are we just twisting words to make the Quran seem true....

And the Quran can't be wrong in any of them if it is the truth....

I guess one big thing I have found is that, people try to argue that some of the miracles we consider were actually known previous to the Quran, so they don't actually deny the fact in the Quran, just say it was discovered before... except how could so many of those things have been discovered before without the technology we have today.... back then it could only have been considered an educated guess...

Plus the fact that, from what I have seen, not a single one of those facts the Quran contains is actually wrong... and if it was from other than Allah, it would have surely contained at least one wrong fact....

My opinion again: The Quran is neither right nor wrong about science because it was not meant to be a book about science. You can't take the Quran and come up with a scientific theory using it (people make claims that the Quran predicted X and Y only after-the-facts). It doesn't tell us clearly what shape the Earth is. It doesn't affirm nor deny the existence of genes. It is neither for nor against the theory of evolution. But people will take random verses of the Quran and make them say things they don't say.
