Muslims believe in Allah, who is the only God, and believe that his final messenger was Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Muslims believe that Allah has no partner or children and that he is the creator and sustainer of this world.

Muslims believe that this life is only a test and that all suffering is temporary as a test for the hereafter, where your deeds in this life will take you either to heaven (Jannah) or hell (Jahannum).

Muslims believe in many prophets who came before Muhammad and who are all held to a great status but not followed, as Muhammad's message and actions (sunnah) overruled that which came before him. Examples of these Prophets are Adam, Nuh, Hud, Saleh, Ismail, Lut, Ibraheem, Ish'aq, Ya'qub, Idrees, etc. These Prophets were sent to different communities at different times to spread the world of Allah.

Muslims believe in the holy Qur'an as the direct word of Allah, and the Hadeeth and Sunnah as the sayings and actions of the Prophet. Islamic jurisprudence is taken from these scriptures. Muslims believe that the holy Qur'an is infallible and has never been and will never be changed.

Muslims follow five fundamentals, also known as the five pillars of Islam: Shahadah, the declaration of faith; Salah, the daily prayers; Zakah, charity; Sawm, fasting; Hajj, pilgrimage.
