It is CLEARLY mentioned in the saheeh hadeeth that musical instruments are haram. refer to this https://islamqa.info/en/5000

Moreover, Yousef al qardawi is considered by many as a shaytan, and a slave of taghut and kafirs.

Yeah that's what I thought. My roommate plays "relaxing meditation music" (on his computer) all night. It's driving me crazy.

(to be fair, I used to do this before knowing music is haram)

Can´t you ask him stop playing as it irritates you (like say it prevents you to sleep well)? Or ask him using headphones.

Yes I asked him to turn it down and his computer was right against my wall that's why it was so loud.
