Another update. Ruling classes are worried, Americans are beginning to realise that the limited deomcracy they have is a sham

It's Not a Conspiracy Anymore; Public Belief in 'Deep State' Soars

On Monday, the Monmouth University Polling Institute released the results of a survey that found that “a large bipartisan majority… feel that national policy is being manipulated or directed by a ‘Deep State’ of unelected government officials….

According to the survey:”…6-in-10 Americans (60%) feel that unelected or appointed government officials have too much influence in determining federal policy. Just 26% say the right balance of power exists between elected and unelected officials in determining policy. Democrats (59%), Republicans (59%) and independents (62%) agree that appointed officials hold too much sway in the federal government. (“Public Troubled by ‘Deep State”, Monmouth.edu)

The survey appears to confirm that democracy in the United States is largely a sham. Our elected representatives are not the agents of political change, but cogs in a vast bureaucratic machine that operates mainly in the interests of the behemoth corporations and banks. Surprisingly, most Americans have not been taken in by the media’s promotional hoopla about elections and democracy. They have a fairly-decent grasp of how the system works and who ultimately benefits from it. Check it out:

“Few Americans (13%) are very familiar with the term “Deep State;” another 24% are somewhat familiar, while 63% say they are not familiar with this term. However, when the term is described as a group of unelected government and military officials who secretly manipulate or direct national policy, nearly 3-in-4 (74%) say they believe this type of apparatus exists in Washington.…Only 1-in-5 say it does not exist.” Belief in the probable existence of a Deep State comes from more than 7-in-10 Americans in each partisan group…”

So while the cable news channels dismiss anyone who believes in the “Deep State” as a conspiracy theorist, it’s clear that the majority of people think that’s how the system really works, that is, “a group of unelected government and military officials…secretly manipulate or direct national policy.”

It’s impossible to overstate the significance of the survey. The data suggest that representative democracy is a largely a fraud, that congressmen and senators are mostly sock-puppets who do the bidding of wealthy powerbrokers, and that the entire system is impervious to the will of the people. These are pretty damning results and a clear indication of how corrupt the system really is.

Nothing new for me here. That is why I never voted in my life. It's a sham. Those politicians are just stooges and even the leaders themselves have to answer to the Global Manipulators.

Woodrow Wilson, former President of the U.S.:

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

Benjamin Disraeli, former Prime Minister of Engliand:

“The world is governed by very different personages to what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.”

we should constantly remind ourselves that as muslims our belief is that only allah taala controls everything ,every atom, every blade of grass, every cloud, every gust of wind ,every grain of rice.
also each angel ,each universe, each sun and star, each planet, river ,ocean and each drop of water

allah taalas control is total ,our sustenance and our circumstances are written on the great tablet.

however our reaction to world events and personal trials is up to us and allah taala wants to see though he already knows, this process.

only the power of sincere duas ,sincere sadaqah and sincere tears ,sincere repentance has the power to delay or remove trials which is still in the knowledge and acceptance of allah taala.

to concern ourselves with the so called power of one human ,one nation etc is very problematic for a muslims imaan.

we have to remember that allah taalas help is with the patient with the worshippers .
we do not pray for anyones destruction or for anyone to suffer muslim or not muslim
we only pray for peace, guidance and mutual respect

Sorry brother I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, this strikes me as empty rhetoric. We wont achieve much if we live by this fatalistic attitude.

Unfortunately, we also live in a time where they can come out and reveal it and most people won't be put off or care to do anything about it, as long as they don't get their toys taken away from them. :-

Its the same in UK, Britain is run by the 'establishment' no big secret everybody knows about it. This is a basic introduction.

Blurb

Behind our democracy lurks a powerful but unaccountable network of people who wield massive power and reap huge profits in the process. In exposing this shadowy and complex system that dominates our lives, Owen Jones sets out on a journey into the heart of our Establishment, from the lobbies of Westminster to the newsrooms, boardrooms and trading rooms of Fleet Street and the City. Exposing the revolving doors that link these worlds, and the vested interests that bind them together, Jones shows how, in claiming to work on our behalf, the people at the top are doing precisely the opposite. In fact, they represent the biggest threat to our democracy today - and it is time they were challenged.

Theres also a TV series called Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister that gives a good insight into how British government works.

I guess people will have to accept the status quo until a better alternative is offered, but its good to know how the game is really played.

Despite the flaws of democracies we've got to remember to compare and contrast it with other forms of government. For example, I think we can say its better than this

Or the execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr without even a semblance of a proper judicial process.

Deep state is already an exposed constitution in Turkey. But I guess it exisist in all countries. America is a prominent example. There are only two parties and the unseen actors easily bring the man to the head they want. The elections are just a show over there. I knew that Trump was going to win although the surveys showed Clinton.

Doesn't matter who is the President in the U.S. They do what there told. Trump is end result of State Sponsored Education. It reminds me of what Winston Churchill once said:

"The case against Democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter."

Rather than make a new thread, Ill post this here because of its relevance.

Like to share. CIA involved the drugs trade for a long time. Good to have more and more proof.

Blurb

The notorious cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar worked closely with the CIA, according to his son. In this episode of The Geopolitical Report, we look at the long history of CIA involvement in the international narcotics trade, beginning with its collaboration with the French Mafia to using drug money to illegally fund the Contras and overthrow the Sandinista government in Nicaragua. We also look at how drug profits are used to float Wall Street and the role big banks play in laundering huge amounts of illicit drug profits.

''In my 30—year history in the Drug Enforcement Administration and related agencies, the major targets of my investigations almost invariably turned out to be working for the CIA.'' Dennis Dayle, Former Chief Of DEA Task Force

Ive been told this a good book if you want to understand the 'darker' aspects of the CIA.

Blurb

Author of three books on CIA operations, Valentine’s research into CIA activities began when CIA Director William Colby gave him free access to interview CIA officials who had been involved in various aspects of the Phoenix program in South Vietnam. It was a permission Colby was to regret. The CIA would rescind it, making every effort to impede publication of The Phoenix Program, which documented the CIA’s elaborate system of population surveillance, control, entrapment, imprisonment, torture and assassination in Vietnam. While researching Phoenix, Valentine learned that the CIA allowed opium and heroin to flow from its secret bases in Laos, to generals and politicians on its payroll in South Vietnam. His investigations into this illegal activity focused on the CIA’s relationship with the federal drugs agencies mandated by Congress to stop illegal drugs from entering the United States. Based on interviews with senior officials, Valentine wrote two subsequent books, The Strength of the Wolf and The Strength of the Pack, showing how the CIA infiltrated federal drug law enforcement agencies and commandeered their executive management, intelligence and foreign operations staffs in order to ensure that the flow of drugs continues unimpeded to traffickers and foreign officials in its employ.Ultimately, portions of his research materials would be archived at the National Security Archive, Texas Tech University’s Vietnam Center, and John Jay College. This book includes excerpts from the above titles along with subsequent articles and transcripts of interviews on a range of current topics, with a view to shedding light on the systemic dimensions of the CIA’s ongoing illegal and extra-legal activities. These terrorism and drug law enforcement articles and interviews illustrate how the CIA’s activities impact social and political movements abroad and in the United States.A common theme is the CIA’s ability to deceive and propagandize the American public through its impenetrable government-sanctioned shield of official secrecy and plausible deniability.Though investigated by the Church Committee in 1975, CIA praxis then continues to inform CIA praxis now. Valentine tracks its steady infiltration into practices targeting the last population to be subjected to the exigencies of the American empire: the American people.

There was a movie that came out last year based on true events how this aviator (played by Tom Cruise) smuggled in cocaine from Columbia to the U.S. for the CIA. The movie was called American Made. He also eventually smuggled weapons for the Contra's.

Another place the CIA was exposed big time was 'School of the Americas' was closed down and renamed 'western hemisphere institute for secyrity co-operation' long time training ground for south/central american dictators, rightwing death squads, and general terrorism and drug runners to help depose of governments the US didnt like..

Loads of documetaries on this over a long time frame. 'school of the Americas' google/youtube

one other thing..I think people have to carefull beleiving whistle blowers, and the likes of wikileaks, those whistle blowers might be total dissinfo agents leading you down the path 'they' want to lead you..
Same for leaks , they might leak a load of fake non sense to further their agenda..

For example those podesta leaks that might of tipped the balace for Trump were allegedly leaked from a government security department computer, and that 'whistle blower' in the OP says Trump is not deep sate :D

One thing for sure is we will never really know what they are up to, only make a guided guess.

No, the Global Elite wanted it this way. You put a right wing buffoon in office so he can embarrass his conservative voter base with his stupid policies and then next election you can be sure a liberal will win and continue winning elections because people are not going to forget what they had with Trump and the Republican Party. Then the Democrats and liberals in general with continue with immoral Public Policy under their Democracy without any substantial resistance.

Please explain how trump is deep state. I live in the US and I have never seen a press , fbi, or CIA as openly hostile towards a president as I have seen them be towards trump. If he was as deep state as you say he would have total support. Even the worthless neocon Republican Congress members hate him.

Trump is a Jesuit educated billionaire whose persona was created by corporate media, he ran with Pence who is as deep state as republicans go, he assembled the most hardcore neocon government in history and has more representation at Builderberg in history, his whole team is riddled with CFR, Builderbergs, Trillateralists, billionaires and corporate bigwigs..
Look at how wall st and the global casino markets reacted, look at the reaction of the CIA when he adressed them, they gave him a standing ovation..

All the bad press is a smoke screen to make him look good, the deep state knew confidence in the system is crumbling so they get their man to look the genuine outsider that opposes the corrupt system.

Trump is a part of the corrupt system.

What is happening right now in Syria is a good example of the Deep State operating.

I would estimate that 90% of Americans want the US forces out of the Middle-East, want nothing to do with the Syrian conflict, etc. Nevertheless, a shadowy group of oligarchs, banking interests, and globalists are dictating American foreign policy, as they have been for decades.

Even advocates of the Deep State think they might be going too far.

The 'deep state' is real. But are its leaks against Trump justified?

America doesn’t have coups or tanks in the street. But a deep state of sorts exists here and it includes national security bureaucrats who use secretly collected information to shape or curb the actions of elected officials.

Some see these American bureaucrats as a vital check on the law-breaking or authoritarian or otherwise illegitimate tendencies of democratically elected officials. Others decry them as a self-serving authoritarian cabal that illegally and illegitimately undermines democratically elected officials and the policies they were elected to implement.

The truth is that the deep state, which is a real phenomenon, has long been both a threat to democratic politics and a savior of it. The problem is that it is hard to maintain its savior role without also accepting its threatening role. The two go hand in hand, and are difficult to untangle.

The deep state has been blamed for many things since Donald Trump became president, including by the president himself. Trump defenders have used the term promiscuously to include not just intelligence bureaucrats but a broader array of connected players in other administrative bureaucracies, in private industry, and in the media.

But even if we focus narrowly on the intelligence bureaucracies that conduct and use information collected secretly in the homeland, including the FBI, National Security Agency (NSA), and National Security Council, there is significant evidence that the deep state has used secretly collected information opportunistically and illegally to sabotage the president and his senior officials – either as part of a concerted movement or via individuals acting more or less independently.

As deep state officials get a taste for the power that inheres in the selective revelation of such information, and if the leaks are not responded to with severe punishments, it is easy to imagine the tools that brought down Flynn being used in other contexts by national security bureaucrats with different commitments and interests.

Even the most severe critics of Trump should worry about this subtle form of anti-democratic abuse. The big loser in all this will probably be the national security bureaucracy itself and, to the extent it is weakened, the security of the American people.

The fact that the karpen's pile device is kept out of sight with the false excuse that "nobody has the money to provide security to display it" (sounds more like a veiled threat) is evidence enough of a banking conspiracy to keep the people of the world in debt - with every governent in the world under thumb. And karpen's pile is simply a very basic device in comparson to others.
When they went after stan meyers and began discussing weaponizeability (like in iron man and the botanist - this time with magnets flying out of control simply due to a glitch where rpms aren't regulated) and tanks and national security and gag orders - whilst at the same time doing everything they could to discredit him via puppet scientists and shady investment partners bent on sabotage - those who have minds able to think realised that the matrix of slavery to the corrupt is international and has existed for quite a long time.
Genepax is still in investment limbo too......

This is related, the rise of corporations vis a vis the state.

Blurb

Who is more POWERFUL, CORPORATIONS OR STATES? Its undisputed that states and corporations are interdependent. Corporations rely on the state for the provision of security and the enforcement of property rights in order to be able to engage in business transactions. At the same time, states also depend on corporations for the employment of their citizens and as a basis for taxation. But the role of corporations in international politics is often overlooked. Just think about the private and public power of global giants like Google or Apple.

When Donald Trump met Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook in April 2018 to discuss how a trade sanctions with China would affect Apple’s interests, it demonstrated that the leading multinationals are political actors, not bystanders. It starts to become apparent that international relations are anything but a one-sided story of either state or corporate power. Globalisation has changed the rules of the game, empowering corporations but bringing back state power through new transnational state-corporate relations. International relations has become a giant three-dimensional chess game with states and corporations as intertwined actors.

States using corporations to achieve geopolitical goals in an increasingly hostile environment, and powerful corporations perhaps using more aggressive strategies to extract profits in response. If this is where we’re heading, it could have a lasting impact on the world order.

Seems Google Execs are displeased with Trumps success.

LEAKED VIDEO: Google Leadership’s Dismayed Reaction to Trump Election

A video recorded by Google shortly after the 2016 presidential election reveals an atmosphere of panic and dismay amongst the tech giant’s leadership, coupled with a determination to thwart both the Trump agenda and the broader populist movement emerging around the globe.

The video is a full recording of Google’s first all-hands meeting following the 2016 election (these weekly meetings are known inside the company as “TGIF” or “Thank God It’s Friday” meetings). Sent to Breitbart News by an anonymous source, it features co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, VPs Kent Walker and Eileen Naughton, CFO Ruth Porat, and CEO Sundar Pichai. It can be watched in full above. It can and should be watched in full above in order to get the full context of the meeting and the statements made.

It was reported earlier this week that Google tried to boost turnout among the Latino population to help Hillary Clinton, only to be dismayed as the usually solid Democratic voting bloc switched to the GOP in record numbers. This video shows a similar level of dismay among Google’s most high-profile figures.

These individuals, who preside over a company with unrivaled influence over the flow of information, can be seen disparaging the motivations of Trump voters and plotting ways to use their vast resources to thwart the Trump agenda.

Co-founder Sergey Brin can be heard comparing Trump supporters to fascists and extremists. Brin argues that like other extremists, Trump voters were motivated by “boredom,” which he says in the past led to fascism and communism.

The Google co-founder then asks his company to consider what it can do to ensure a “better quality of governance and decision-making.”

VP for Global Affairs Kent Walker argues that supporters of populist causes like the Trump campaign are motivated by “fear, xenophobia, hatred, and a desire for answers that may or may not be there.”

Later, Walker says that Google should fight to ensure the populist movement – not just in the U.S. but around the world – is merely a “blip” and a “hiccup” in a historical arc that “bends toward progress.”

CEO Sundar Pichai states that the company will develop machine learning and A.I. to combat what an employee described as “misinformation” shared by “low-information voters.”
