YouTube shooting: 4 injured by female shooter who then committed suicide

Chief Ed Barberini of the San Bruno police addressed the press after the shooting at the YouTube headquarters, detailing how a female shooter wounded four people before taking her own life.

Three victims at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital are a 36-year-old man, who was in critical condition, one 32-year-old woman was in serious condition and one 27-year-old woman was in fair condition.

Barberini said there was a fourth person injured, but no details were given at this time.

Several YouTube employees sent tweets Tuesday afternoon, saying people were racing out of the company’s Cherry Avenue offices shortly after 1 p.m.

“I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs,” Todd Sherman, a YouTube producer, wrote on Twitter. “Peaked around for threats and then we headed downstairs and out the front.”

“Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.” – Vadim Lavrusik

Rumors….

KGO-SF, the local ABC News in San Francisco, California, is reporting that the suspect in Tuesday’s YouTube HQ shooting is a white female wearing a headscarf.

“I’ve got a law enforcement source, a pretty good law enforcement source who’s telling me that the shooter is a white adult female with a dark top and a headscarf,” a reporter said.

“There have been multiple injured, shots to the chest, no fatalities yet. This is now from a law enforcement source.”

The Daily Beast reports that, “A federal law enforcement official told The Daily Beast that a woman shot her boyfriend at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California on Tuesday.”

Fox News and its affiliate KTVU have also reported on air that the female shooting suspect may have shot a man who was her boyfriend before shooting herself.

Aghdam has a robust presence on YouTube. In a video posted in January 2017, she says YouTube “discriminated and filtered” her content. In the video Aghdam says her channel used to get lots of views but that after being filtered by the company, it received fewer views. In a Facebook post from February 2017, Aghdam blasted YouTube saying, “There is not equal growth opportunity on YouTube.”

The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit has also learned the license plate on a car towed from YouTube’s campus Tuesday is registered to Aghdam. In 2014, she posted a video on YouTube of what appears to be the same car, stating that it was vandalized by “anti-vegans” because the car had a sign saying “meat is murder.”

I think the shooting was orchestrated to justify YouTube censorship.
