Assalamu Alaykum,

I used to commit sins over and and over and over again, and everytime I asked Allah for his forgiveness in the evening before going to bed.
I didn't really dedicate myself on praying my salah and I thought it was enough to only pray 1 - 2 times a day.

Recently however, I have been actively trying to better myself. I now try to pray 5 times a day, instead of just a tiny amount and It's been wonderful.
When asking Allah for forgiveness I don't have an emotional feeling inside of me, I feel empty. This gives me doubt wheter or not he will accept.
I know it isn't right to doubt the mercy of Allah, but there's this feeling inside of me that gives me doubt. I am afraid this way without the emotional feeling he won't accept my call for his forgiveness.

I admit my sins, and I know they are bad.
I dedicate myself to not commit those sins in the future, ever again.
I ask for his forgiveness.

Will he still forgive me, even without me feeling miserable about those sins when asking for his forgiveness?

"If you repent and make dua but are not answered, reflect on your condition, for perhaps your repentance has not been realized, therefore work toward completing it. Then supplicate, and do not tire of supplication, for perhaps it is in your best interest for the answer to be delayed, or for it not to be answered. In this way you accumulate rewards, and you will be answered through that which benefits you, and perhaps it is to your benefit that what you do not get what you seek, but are given something better that replaces it." Seeking forgiveness even without tears in eyes or trembling body is still praiseworthy though.

Do something like:

purify your intention in repentance

confess each sin you've committed, one by one, in dua.

Try to cry, if unable, then at least make face of crying.

Even acting of crying with sincerity and purity will bring mercy of Allah swt closer to you.

Abstain from sinning

sending maximum durood on prophet s.a.w makes the heart soft.

Recitation of Quran as well as salah shouldn't be missed
