Assalamu alikum va rahmathullahi va barakathuhu bothers and sisters,

So my ustad asked me this question

What's the difference between a Muslim doing tawaf and a Hindu doing (circling around the temple)? Aren't we the same then?

Please help me answer this question. Jazakhallah khair

Hindus believe in polytheism and paganism, so they circumbulate around plants, trees, fire and deities. They worship idols and nature.
