Allah created us such a way that, we reassemble ape/chimpanzee. This is because Allah want to test us. He wants to see whether we believe in Him without seeing Him or not.

God created evolution, space, science, the laws of nature...and how it all works. We simply do not have a full understanding of it.

I don't think we came from monkey's, however...the idea of things evolving over time to adapt to their environment..etc is real.
