I'm just learning about Islam and had a question about the 99 names of Allah:

Sometimes, I see the name of Allah written as Al-Aliyy and at other times as Ya-Aliyy. What is the difference between Al- and Ya-?

Arabic grammar in reference with Attributes - The book normally is printed with a rules in the front of how to call the Attribute.
