As Salamualaikum poeple, i'm currently having and issue that has been bothering me for awhile now. I know this is a weird question but please bare with me. If water that has been mixed with urine enters my ear canal reaching up to the ear drum then is removed from the ear canal which then the remains of the water mixed with urine dries up in the ear canal. I always have a way of cleaning myself, where it has to be my way and perfect so that i am satisfied and convinced that there is no impurity left on that area. I know that the ruling on ghusl is that water must reach the part of the external body only and not the internal body except for the inside of the nose and the inside of the mouth and that the messenger of Allah peace be upon him did not wash his ear canals, he only washed his outer part of the ears and the inner part of the ears(not the ear canals). I have washed the ear canal that i suspect has najis in it but my OCD tells me that i have not don't it properly. So now i'm just scared that if there is really najis there and i ignore it and do my salah, my salah wont get excepted and i may be sinning by praying with najis in my ear canal. Please help me, this problem has really affected my life and my ibaadah. Please be honest and serious about your answer because, Wallahi I am not joking around and I am very serious about this question and matter. By the way, I am a sunni muslim therefore, i would like answers from sunni Muslims. May Allah have mercy on all the muslims and may Allah reward anyone who helps me by clarifying what i should do regarding this matter that I am dealing with.

One more thing to add, do i have to wash the ear canals if there is najis in them, because the messenger of Allah peace be upon him did not was his ear canals at all during wudhu and ghusl.

I forgot to add one more thing, this procedure that i did washing the ear canals was a very tiring procedure for me and it took alot of time therefore due to the OCD that i have. Therefore i hope that i dont have to repeat this procedure becuase i dont want to go through that procedure again which i used a wet cotton bud to rub the dry impurity and rinsing it with water three times by pouring water into my ear canal reaching as deep as where the ear drum is at. I did mention i wash it however, lets say if there is still najis in the ear canal as deep as where the ear drum is at, do i still have to remove the najis in the ear canal as deep as where the eardrum is at?
I cant even see the najis with the naked eye because there may not even be najis there at all, but my OCD with intense constant anxiety tells me otherwise. I'm a mess sigh*.

You don't have to wash the ear canal. There is no najasah inside the ear. Just follow the Sunnah procedure for wudhu and you should be fine.

BarakAllah hu feek.
I understand that, what if najasah enters deep into the ear canal though, do i still have to clean it?
Your answer to this will really help me inshaAllah and may Allah reward you generously for doing so.

You would have to use a pressure washer in that case.

I suggest Karcher - Although I am a Bosch man myself.

Tilt your head on the right side. Take water in your right palm and rinse your right ear three times. Then tilt your head on your left and rinse your left ear in the same way. That should be sufficient :ia:. Don't try to put anything inside your ear, it will damage your ear drum.

Do you mean that i rinse the inner and outer part of my ears(not ear canals running to where the eardrum is at)?
you did mention that dont put anything in the ear canals, does that include water, because putting anything in the ear canals is harmful according to you?

Yes for both your questions.

Water may not be harmful but it is not necessary to pour it inside.

One more thing, prayer is not accepted if there is najasah on ones body or clothing right, then if there is najasah such as urine for example that entered the ear canal which reached the ear canal where the ear drum is at and the less deep parts of the ear canal and dried up since it flowed down to where the ear drum is at, how is it that, you dont have to remove the najis by cleaning the less deep parts of the ear canal and also where the ear drum is at, my salah wont get accepted right if i dont remove the najasah?
Could you please explain that to me. Im sorry for asking too much questions on this. May Allah reward you for helping me.

I am not sure how you'd clean that. It might be better to consult an ENT specialist.

Normally, we are only required to clean what is apparent and external on the body. You don't have to clean the insides of your intestines, so the same way you won't have to clean the insides of the ear where you cannot easily reach.

I did what you told me to do, i rinsed the inside of my ear canal only with water by pouring in water into my ear canal reaching to the eardrum and ouring the water out from my ear canal, i did this 3 times, and i didnt use a wet cotton bud at all, because you told me that putting anything inside my ear canal such as a cotton bud will damage the ear drum, and in Islam anything that is harmful to you is haram right, therefore it is haram for me to use the cotton bud to clean my ear canal including the ear drum right. So is it sufficient to only clean it with water 3 times???

Bro, all you need is a psychiatrist. Otherwise, you will end up committing suicide due to your OCD.

Stop overthinking. Focus on your work...
