As'salamu alaikum,

Michelin star chef Atul Kochhar has been accused of being an Islamophobe and spreading hate after Tweeting a controversial message against Islam.

The well-known Indian culinary and TV figure Tweeted: “It’s sad to see that you have not respected the sentiments of Hindus who have been terrorised by Islam over 2000 years. Shame on you. [sic]”

There's been a call for boycott of the places he is employed along with rating those establishments as 1 star, leaving a bad review there. This was announced on FB groups and tons of bad reviews were left for those establishments.

BOYCOTT @atulkochhar’s restaurants including:

2). Rang Mahal at @JWDubaiMarquis

The UAE residents, rightfully so, forced the hotel to terminate his contract with them.

The UAE residents are calling for the sacking of a Michelin-star chef in Dubai for his "anti-Islam tweet". Atul Kochhar, head chef of the popular Rang Mahal Indian restaurant at the JW Marriot Marquis hotel, received flak after taking a dig at Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra for her tweet over a Quantico episode that portrayed Hindu nationalists as terrorists.

Some residents said they would boycott the restaurant.

"Chef celebrity showed his true colours. I won't eat here after reading the racist tweets by the head chef," posted a resident on his Facebook page.

A Twitter user, Ali, said: "I have cancelled my wedding anniversary meal for next month at your restaurant. You knew exactly what you meant as you tweeted that message.

A new article shows atul has a history of islamophobe tweets.

UK Halal food apps Halal Gems and Halal Dining Club have also removed Atul’s most famous London restaurant Benares from their respective food lists.

And this has led to hindu trolls coming out in retaliation and against the app.

While Halal Dining Club CEO Siddika Jaffer believes her business is now “being targeted by anti-muslim campaigns following the Atul disaster [sic]”.

Posting on Facebook, she revealed: “[W]e removed Benares and associated restaurants from our app and website and we are now facing a backlash of 1 star reviews on our app by people who are clearly Hindu and therefore not the users of our app – Halal Dining Club.

“This will hurt us as there is no way to switch off/ block these reviews on Google Play/ App Store although we are trying to work with them to see what we can do.

“If possible, can I call upon those who have used our app to leave us feedback so we can drown these noises that are fuelled by hate? Of course not asking for fake reviews [sic].”
To counter those islamophobe hindu trolls, inshallah it would be good if we all could download the app and give it a good rating counter the negative ratings.

Asalamu Alaikum

I love it when these idiots cry about what Qasim, Ghaznavi, Ghauri, Shah Mir, Taimur, Alamgir and Durrani among others all did to them, because it shows that no matter how much they brag about 1971, we as Muslims inflicted much nastier wounds upon them for over a thousand years, starting with Muhammad Bin Qasim and ending with Tipu Sultan.
