We asked three centenarians what their most valuable life lessons were, and also their regrets. The conversations that followed were remarkable. They talked about the importance of family, people, relationships and love. Their view on life, as an elderly citizen with a lot of experience is truly an inspiration and motivation. Enjoy the video!

And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them, and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
Quran, Chapter 41, Verse 25

See most of them regret that they do not remember Allah that often and wasted their life celebrating birthday parties, weddings and anniversaries or going out and shopping or
chit chatting.
And the next regret is they give so much importance to their busy schedule that they stop living and spending time with their families.

Really like that one person who said something like, "I don't particularly feel like 29, more like 69 or 79" :giggling:
It's important that the mention was recalled of both difficult and wonderful periods of times elapsed. Reminds of the many ayats in the Quran, "verily, after difficulty is ease". And, to surely be self-aware and socially aware and make necessary plans, because we don't want to fall in a trap of "if wishes were horses...." Also, of eating good and nourishing foods. But, essentially all of this to me, is a reminder of a greater question; "what legacy do we leave behind' (for what good reasons, to benefit another/others, to please our creator).....there is such wisdom to be learnt from the elderly.
