Hey Guys,

I was listening to a very, very, very good Islamic lecture and what the sheikh said terrified me. Without us knowing we thought having paper money and using cheques, money order, etc are all ok and halal where in in fact they are all haraam. All Muslim countries use these monetary money system and use banking in their countries and banking use interest and cash money and all of that are haraam. The only halal way of doing transaction is dinharm and dinar (gold and silver) that is it. The Jews know this. They are busy preparing their economical system in such means that they will be using only dinharm and dinar and nothing else and they are in process of working and maybe in 10 to 20 years from now that is what they will be using. The Jews also know interest is haraam, so they are forbidding interest in their society but allowing everyone else doing interest. Problem of us Muslims we thought that using cash money is halal and if you ask majority of them they all agree it is halal and will debate and argue with you (which makes it worse) where in fact it is haraam. Those people end up Mushrikeen without them knowing. I believe in my heart that using cash money, visa, online banking, etc are all haraam means but problem I have is I cannot go about using the halal conventional means of transaction. So I am going to email this shiekh and ask him very important question to help me avoid been a Mushrik without me knowing. But for now..I believe in my heart and admit and say I am doing haraam, but I want to see what to do to avoid doing this. We Muslims are in danger.

Danger.

Danger.

Danger.

We are too focused on worldly things when jahannam is coming close to us without knowing it and we are all asleep.

People wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Let us save our skins while we still have the chance to save them.

I don't think there is any issues of Shirk involved in using paper money or whatever currency as means of money but I believe the hadith is indicting to man made laws such as democracy, communism, liberalism, socialism etc etc. These laws confront the law of Allah directly allowing what his forbidden and rejecting what he has permitted.

Most people don't see this as shirk and they hasten towards voting for rival politicians whenever there is elections and this is happening in all most all of the muslim countries except Saudi Arabia because it's a monarcy and maybe also in Brunei

There are differences of opinions in this regard. But, I know of none who has stated using paper money to be shirk? Some are of the view that paper money is haram because it can be classified as Riba. And in a hadith mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad pbuh there are categories of Riba which are forbidden; namely the buyer, seller, witness and the recorder.

Those who classify paper money to be Riba states that the Quran has mentioned what our money should be and the terms. The argument states that the things used for money has to have an intrinsic value as well as being a fair medium of exchange. You can read more about that here.

Some have thus condemned the entire banking institution, with the focus being creating something out of nothing; the explanation of how trading with receipts is haram. This particular fatwa speaks about minting gold coins, establishing markets using the coins in circulation and electing emirs.

It's noteworthy to also mention that some new/recent innovations that seemingly advocate the use of gold and silver can also be a means of Riba such as the reasonable speculation behind BlockChain Technology.

So what do we do?

Some advises have been given in the fatwas/literature links provided. Some are probably what I heard from various lectures or research. These are:

1. Convert your paper money into tangible assets/commodities - ownership of property, houses/building on apartments, investment in land and animals/crops, gold & silver
2. Educating others to form a community that uses gold and silver in purchases and especially supporting involved Islamic businesses
3. Keep a minimal savings account for using paper money whereby it still remains (a gradually declining) necessity.....having taken above measures.
4. Give in charity-whatever you spend in the way of Allah is surely increased.

Still trying to do more research into this but what I have understood so far with regards to appropriation of wealth and dealing with Riba. May Allah make what lies ahead of us easy and help us to become of those who are successful. Ameen.

Dajjal is a man who will be born in the future and the gog and magog are a nation sealed away by Allah as he said in the Quran.

By the way regarding paper money you can use it and you can use whatever means of currency as did the sahaba they didn't only use Dirham and dinar because they also used commodity such as dates, fruits etc etc for currency. Whatever is acceptable between humans to exchange goods is good and it may even be whatever commodity form of currency as long as it is acceptable between the two people exchanging goods.

Now concerning dajjal, I also believe he will appear in physical being form.....but no doubt a system is build for him so that when he comes it is easy for people to follow him. However, concerning paper money....the mere fact it is bad because it of inflation....where ones a 10 dollar used to buy me 30 items now 10 dollars could hardly buy one item. So that process then is used to enslave people and cause people to work more for less. So many things about paper money when you read it and understand Islamic economy you know it is not halal. However, no choice do I have but to use these monetary system but in deep in heart I do not accept it or approve it and believe it is haram...but believe you me...I am going to research to see if there is a country out there that is confined to proper Islamic way of economy and it is a Muslim country I will go there in a heart beat. That may be Turkey but I do not know.

Honestly, I am tired living in the West. It is not a country I enjoy been for the rest of my life.

The current monetary system may be haram but i did not understand where the shirk is? A haram is not a shirk.

There is riba/usury/unlawful gain of money in the current global capitalist economic system and that was created by the jewish bankers in the 18th century by replacing the gold and silver with “bank note” (actually the first bank that gave the note in place of gold was rotschilds’) but you cannot label every who join the system out of neccecity a mushrik. You musnt benefit from it in order not to commit haram. In fact many of us are the victims of the system.

The shirk part is you believe it is not haraam and you accept it as normal system. If you listen to his video I posted earlier he clearly said if you do not agree that it is haraam and you believe it is halaal after you have been told then you are part of the shirk process and you are a mushrik. I declare that in my heart that paper money is haraam and I am intending to find location....MOVE FROM CANADA if I must to a Muslim country IF I HAVE to quit my job and move I will...to do halal monetary system.

That is where I am waiting for my brother to come Australia as I will be having a long discussion with him on this matter.

No wonder there is no barakah in majority of Muslim countries....how can there be barakah when we are like this? :heated::heated::heated:

No country in the world uses only gold and silver as currency...money is everywhere...even the greatest shaycks use it.

You can try to avoid is as much as possible by moving to a village, live as a farmer and grow your our crops, vegetable and fruit etc.
you may even be able to exchange your crops with milk and frui...for meat you can hunt....much like the Amish people live nowadays.

but after a certain point you are going to need clothing, shoes, gas or coal to warm up your house, electricity, sometimes you have to go to the doctor or dentist....how are you planning to pay for those?
with fruit and vegetables? or gold and silver pieces?

So you always need money...wherever you go.

Edit:

I just watched the video full 25 minutes. I must say, that I cannot disagree with...there are some claims which I am not sure about, but right now I am giving him the benefit of doubt and trust his word on it.
however...what I do not like about this kind of videos is this:

OK, we learned that using money is haraam...great to know that we are committing haraam in our lives....so, now what? how can we avoid this haraam...what is his recommendation? does he even have a solution to this problem?
This video addresses a problem, but there is no solution...no advise what we now should do...nothing. how does he himself cope with this?

If you watch his video again he will tell you...that you cannot. Even if you reconfirm what he said in the video (you are right you cannot). The only time it can be done is when the mahdi show up and we get the Islamic society back...that is when you can.

At least for now...I am little bit wake and I am using the word little here because I do not know what else we Muslims are so slumbering about yet.

Also he said in one of his videos that cell phones and phone/radio towers are wiping the Y chromosome to extinction. Eventually a time will come that birthing baby boys will be impossible. The only time you can birth boys is IF you live away from towers and wifi and other disgusting places like that. So if you eve wondered why you did not have a boy ...check your male sperm production count..chances are you live in an area that is wiping it clean. That means ever more....more women will be born and will not have husbands or fathers. In Singapore it is a problem already...so many sisters are not finding husbands. That means if she cannot find husbands...desperation will come where zina will be rampant, ------- children will be the norm and fitna will be every where.

Agree, that is the way of life..

What OP has overlooked is that this is not a new problem in Islam.

..most problems are not new problems, Islam was not established in a perfect land of perfect people with perfect neighbour's and perfect economies.

The difference is that the Muslims of the era and those leading them knew what they wanted.. they worked towards it..

They did not transgress through overreaction. They seemed to have brains..

Literally just a link.

Excerpt:

Coinage

As stated earlier, the Islamic government did not have any control

over coinage on the value of in-money circulation until the year 74

AH. There was no consistency and growing dishonesty, in the alloy,

the content and weight of coins. In addition, when ¢Abd al-Malik ibn

Marw¥n came to know that borders of curtains imported from Rome

were woven with proclamation of the Christian Trinity, he ordered

this to be changed to a proclamation of the Islamic creed in the textile

factories of Egypt. It is in retaliation for this that the Roman emperor

threatened to engrave blasphemy against the Prophet on Roman

coins.

To solve this problem, the Islamic government sought to

establish control of and improve the monetary system. Thereafter, the

government established legal Islamic dirham, and steadily expelled the

old coins in circulation out of its territory, and the new money

replaced them.

After the establishment of the mint houses, the people paid a

charge to have their gold turned into coins. The charge was one

percent of the weight of the given gold, to cover the cost of minting

(wages and fuel). In this way, the government managed to take

control of the assay of the coins and did its best to raise their quality

and consistency. It was ¢Umar ibn al-¤umayrÏ, the governor of Iraq,

REVIEW-No16 final 6/15/05 10:40 AM Page 56

57Review of Islamic Economics, Vol. 8, No. 2, 2004

who raised the purity of the silver coins for the first time. After him,

Kh¥lid ibn ¢Abdull¥h and Alghasry, the governors of Iraq at the time,

of Hish¥m ibn ¢Abd al-Malik, tried to raise the standard of the coins

with more care. Y‰suf ibn ¢Umar was the most successful governor in

this respect. Accordingly, the best money during the time of

Ummayads was the ‘Kh¥lidiyya’ and ‘Y‰sufiyya’ and Ab‰ Ja¢far took

the tribute based on these coins (Bal¥hurÏ, 1956: 455-456). During

the ¢Abbasid caliphate these efforts were continued and led to fruitful

results. Surviving coins from the Ummayads and ¢Abassid periods,

tested with modern equipment, show that the standard values of the

Ummayad dÏn¥r and the dÏn¥r current during the caliphate of H¥r‰n

al-RashÏd respectively were 87.9and 97.1percent of a common

measure (Im¥m ShushtarÏ, 1964: 80). These figures are remarkable,

given the relatively primitive equipment that would have been

available.

Islamic banking is an option, although if it can hold on to the perceived integrity is a matter of its own actions.

But one thing is for sure, you can't turn away from the world.. you can't change anything looking from the outside.

...progress.

Although what Allah swt makes of us I don't know.

I know it's not related but I would make the comparison.

Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

If that seems like a rational post..

...I have to say I find no peace in my own community.. I found no way forward in my own community..

I don't know what I'm with when I'm at home but it's much easier to live away.

That's what doesn't make sense to me.

Although to be fair they made me what I am.

Something is considered shirk under two conditions
1- Worshiping other than Allah
2- Comparing someone or something to Allah

Just keep that in mind before making any decision. I don't think paper money lead to Shirk.

You need to update your database in knowledge for the definition of shirk. Let me update you. Following constitute shirk:

A) Associating partners with Allah
B) Worshiping other than Allah
C) Comparing someone or something to Allah
D) Making something hallal that is haraam or something haraam that is halaal
E) Putting a picture or imagining something and you believe that is Allah (that is shirk)
F) Trying to imagine Allah (shirk)
G) Resembling Allah to any of his creation such as physical attributes, saying that Allah sits, or Allah needs something all those are shirks
H) Say oh such and such person help me (when the person is not in front of you) that is Shirk
I) Been taught that is haraam and you have shown evidence such and such is haraam and still disagree or call it archaic or barbaric or do not believe it and happily use this shirk system to yourself that is shirk/kufr
K) Loving something more than loving Allah (that is shirk)
L) Loving your parents more than loving Allah and obeying your parents over obeying Allah or getting the approval of your parents first to follow the ruling of Allah (that is shirk)
M) Saying all religions are the same there are no different than any each of these religions that is shirk and make you very, very, very bad bad bad bad state in kufr (those are the worst kind)

Another form of shirk is that you prefer ruling of mankind over Allah's ruling because it satisfies your carnal desires.....and the list goes on.

We see here that a promissory note is meant to be a deed between known transactors - the actual legal tender being precious metal:

كتاب الزهد والرقائق
55
The Book of Zuhd and Softening of Hearts
(18)
Chapter: The Lengthy Hadith Of Jabir And The Story Of Abu Al-Yasar
(18)

'Ubadah b. Walid b. Samit reported:

I and my father set out in search of knowledge to a tribe of the Ansar before their death (i. e. before the Companions of the Prophet left the world) and I was the first to meet Abu Yasar, a Companion of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and there was a young man with him who carried the record of letters with him and there was a mantle prepared by the tribe of Ma'afiri upon him. And his servant too had a Ma'afiri mantle over him. My father said to him: My uncle, I see the signs of anger or that of agony on your face. He said: Yes, such and such person, the son of so and so, of the tribe of Harami owed me a debt. I went to his family, extended salutations and said: Where is he? They said: He is not here. Then came out to me his son who was at the threshold of his youth. I said to him: Where is your father? He said: No sooner did he hear your sound than he hid himself behind my mother's bedstead. I said to him: Walk out to me, for I know where you are. He came out. I said to him: What prompted you to hide yourself from me? He said: By God, whatever I would say to you would not be a lie. By Allah, I fear that I should tell a lie to you and in case of making promise with you I should break it, as you are the Companion of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). The fact is that I was hard up in regard to money. I said: Do you adjure by Allah? He said: I adjure by Allah. I said: Do you adjure by Allah? He said: I adjure by Allah. I said: Do you adjure by Allah? He said: I adjure by Allah. Then he brought his promissory note and he wrote off (the debt) with his hand and said: Make payment when you find yourself solvent enough to pay me back; if you are not, then there is no liability upon you. These two eyes of mine saw, and he (Abu'I-Yasar) placed his fingers upon his eyes and these two ears of mine heard and my heart retained, and he pointed towards his heart that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: He who gives time to one who is financially hard up (in the payment of debt) or writes off his debt, Allah will provide him His shadow. I said to him: My uncle, if you get the cloak of your servant and you give him your two clothes, or take his two clothes of Ma'afir and give him your cloak, then there would be one dress for you and one for him. He wiped my head and said: O Allah, bless the son of my brother. O, son of my brother, these two very eyes of mine saw and these two ears of mine listened to and this heart of mine retained this, and he pointed towards the heart that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Feed them (the servants) and clothe them (the servants) what you wear, and if I give him the goods of the world, it is easy for me than this that he should take my virtues on the Day of Resurrection. We went on till we came to Jabir b. Abdullah in the mosque and he was busy in observing prayer in one cloth which he had joined at its opposite ends. I made my way through the people till I sat between him and the Qibla and I said: May Allah have mercy upon you. Do you observe prayer with one cloth on your body whereas your mantle is lying at your side? He pointed me with his hand towards my breast just like this and he separated his fingers and bent them in the shape of a bow. And (he said): I thought that a fool like you should come to me so that he should see me as I do and he should then also do like it. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to us in this very mosque and he had in his hand the twig of the palm-tree and he saw mucus towards the Qibla of the mosque and he erased it with the help of the twig. He then came to us and said: Who amongst you likes that Allah should turn His face away from him? We were afraid. He then again said: Who amongst you likes that Allah should turn His face away from him? We were afraid. He again said: Who amongst you likes that Allah should turn His face away from him? We said: Allah's Messenger, none of us likes it. And he said: If one amongst you stands for prayer, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, is before him he should not spit in front of him, or on his right side, but should spit on his left side beneath his left foot and if he is impelled to do so all of a sudden (in spite of himself) he should then spit in his cloth and fold it in some part of it. (and he further said: ) Bring some sweet-smelling thing. A young man who belonged to our tribe stood up, went and brought scent in his palm. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took that and applied it to the end of that twig and then touched the place where there had been mucus. Jabir said: This is why you should apply scent to your mosques. It is reported on the same authority: We set out along with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on an expedition of Batn Buwat. He (the Holy Prophet) was in search of al-Majdi b. 'Amr al-Juhani. (We had so meagre equipment) that five. six or seven of us had one camel to ride and so we mounted it turn by turn. Once there wan. the turn of an Ansari to ride upon the camel. He made it kneel down to ride over it (and after having. mounted it), he tried to raise it up but it hesitated. So he said. May there be curse of Allah upon you! Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Who is there to curse his camel? He said: Allah's Messenger, it' is I. Thereupon he said: Get down from the camel and let us not have in our company the cursed one. Don't curse your own selves, nor your children. nor your belongings. There is the possibility that your curse may synchronies with the time when Allah is about to confer upon you what you demand and thus your prayer may be readily responded. It is reported on the same authority: We set out on an expedition along with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) until it was evening, and we had been near a. water reservoir of Arabia. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Who would be the person who would go ahead and set right the reservoir and drink water himself and serve us with it? Jabir said: I stood up and said: Allah's Messenger, it is I who am ready to do that. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Who is the person to accompany Jabir? And then Jabbar b. Sakhr stood up. So we went to that well and poured in that tank a bucket or two of water and plastered it with clay and then began to fill it (with water) until it was filled to the brim. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was the first who appeared before us, and he said: Do you (both) permit me to drink water out of it? We said: Yea, Allah's Messenger. He led his camel to drink water and it drank. He then pulled its rein and it stretched its legs and began to urinate. He then took it aside and made it kneel down at another place and then came to the tank and performed ablution. I then got up and performed ablution like the ablution of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and Jabbar b. Sakhr went in order to relieve himself and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) got up to observe prayer and there was a mantle over me. I tried to invert its ends but it was too short (to cover my body easily). It had its borders. I then inverted it (the mantle) and drew its opposite ends and then tied them at my neck. I then came and stood upon the left side of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). He caught hold of me and made me go round behind him, until he made me stand on his right side. Then Jabbar b. Sakhr came. He performed ablution and then came and stood on the left side of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) caught hold of our hands together, pushed us back and made us stand behind him. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) began to look upon me with darting looks, but I did not perceive that. After that I became aware of it and he pointed with the gesture of his hand that I should wrap my loin-cloth. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had finished the prayer, he said: Jabir! I said: Allah's Messenger, at thy beck and call. He said: When the cloth around you is inadequate, then tie the opposite ends but when it is small, tie it over the lower body. Jabir reported: We set out on an expedition with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the only means of sustenance for every person amongst us was only one date for a day and we used to chew it. And we struck the leaves with the help of our bow and ate them until the sides of our mouths were injured. It so happened one day that a person was overlooked and not given a date. We carried that person and bore witness to the fact that he had not been given that date so he was offered that and he got up and received that. Jabir reported: We set out on an expedition along with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) until we got down at a spacious valley and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to relieve himself. I followed him with a bucket full of water and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) looked about and he found no privacy but two trees at the end of the valley and Allah's Messenger (may. peace be upon him) went to one of them and took hold of one of its twigs and said: Be thou under my control by the permission of Allah, and so it came under his control like the camel who has its nosestring in the hand of its rider, and then he came to the second tree and took hold of a twig and said: Be thou under my control with the permission of Allah, and it came under his control, and when he came in the middle of the two trees he joined together the two twigs and said: join with the permission of Allah. Jabir said: I was afraid lest Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) should be aware of my nearness and go still farther. And Muhammad b. Abbad has used the word" faitab'd" and I began to talk to myself. And as I saw, I suddenly found Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) before me and the two trees were separated and each one of them was standing at its place. I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) standing for a short time, nodding his head towards right and left. Isma'il pointed towards the right and left with the help of his head (in order to demonstrate how the Prophet had pointed). Then he (the Holy Prophet) came to me and said: Jabir did you see my place where I was standing? I said: Allah's Messenger, yes. He then said: Then you should go to those two trees and cut a twig from each of them and go to that place with them where I was standing and stand there where I was standing and place a twig on the right and a twig on the left. Jabir said: I set out and took hold of a stone and broke it and sharpened it and then I came to those trees and cut a twig from each one of them. I then came dragging them until I stood at the place where Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had been standing and placed a twig on the right and a twig on the left. Then I met him and said: Allah's Messenger, I have done that, but (kindly) explain to me the reason for it. Thereupon he said: I passed by two graves the occupants of which had been undergoing torment. I liked to make intercession for them so that the might be relieved of this torment y as long as these twigs remain fresh. Jabir said: We came back to the (camp of the) army and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Jabir, call people for per- forming wudu. I cried: Come and perform wudu, come and perform wudu, come and perform wudu. I said: Allah's Messenger, there is not even a drop of water in the army camp, and there. was a person who used to cool the water for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in the old water-skin which kept hanging by the twig. He asked me to go to such and such Ansari and ask him to see if there was any water in that skin. I went to him and cast a glance in it but did not find anything but a drop in the mouth of that water-skin and if I were to draw that, the water-skin's,. dried part would suck it up. I came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Allah's Messenger, I have not found anything in it but a drop of water in the mouth of the water-skin and now if I were to draw that, it would be absorbed. He said: Go and bring that to me. I brought that to him. He took hold of it -and began to utter something which I could not understand and then pressed it with his hand and gave that to me and said: Jabir, announce for the tub to be brought. So I announced that the tub of the army (be brought). It was brought accordingly and I placed it before him (the Holy Prophet). Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) placed his hands in the tub like this: with his fingers stretched out, and then he placed his fingers at the bottom of the tub and said: Jabir, take it (that waters-skin) and pour water over me, by reciting Bismillah, and I poured water and I said: Bismillah, and found water sprouting out between the fingers of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Then that tub gushed forth until it was filled up and the Messenger (ﷺ) said: Jabir, make an announcement to the effect: He who needs water should take that. Jabir said: The people came and got water until they were all satiated. I said: Is there anyone left who wants to get it? And Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then lifted up his hand from that tub and it was still full. Then the people made a complaint to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about hunger and he said: May Allah provide you food! We came to the bank of the ocean and the ocean was tossing and it threw out a big animal and we lit fire and cooked it and took it until we had eaten to our heart's content. Jabir said: I and such and such five persons entered Its socket and nobody could see us until we had come out, and we took hold of one of its ribs and twisted it into a sort of arch, then we called the tallest of the persons of the army and the hugest of the camels of the army and it had the big saddle over it, and it could easily pass through it without the rider having need to bend down.

It is reported that other rulers not long after the Prophet :saws: did experience an exchange in ambiguous promissory notes - however their attempts were thwarted by sahaabah who appeared to understand the importance of adhering to Allah :swt: and His Messenger :saws:

Book 10, Number 3652:

Abu Huraira (Allah be please with him) is reported to have said to Marwan: Have you made lawful the transactions involving interest? Thereupon Marwan said: I have not done that. Thereupon Abu Huraira (may peace be upon him) said: You have made lawful the transactions with the help of documents only, whereas Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade the transaction of foodgrains until full possession is taken of them. Marwan then addressed the people and forbade them to enter into such transactions (as are done with the help of documents). Sulaiman said: I saw the sentinels snatching (these documents) from the people.

We notice here an emphasis on lawful legal tender in the form of a solid, quantifiable, and finite medium of exchange (gold and silver in this case) which allows for clarity in a transaction (e.g a person feels he has been cheated, sues in court and the items have not been valued properly and one transactor has sold or consumed a part or whole of his share- this can cause a lot of difficulty for judges)

(11)

Narrated Abu Sa`id al-Khudri:

Once Bilal brought Barni (i.e. a kind of dates) to the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "From where have you brought these?" Bilal replied, "I had some inferior type of dates and exchanged two Sas of it for one Sa of Barni dates in order to give it to the Prophet; to eat." Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Beware! Beware! This is definitely Riba (usury)! This is definitely Riba (Usury)! Don't do so, but if you want to buy (a superior kind of dates) sell the inferior dates for money and then buy the superior kind of dates with that money."

Prices of goods increase for everyone living in the system upon every issue of usury - since usury inevitably bloats any trade based system.

Regarding Avoiding Things That One Doubts
(3)

Narrated AbuHurayrah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: A time is certainly coming to mankind when only the receiver of usury will remain, and if he does not receive it, some of its vapour will reach him. Ibn Isa said: Some of its dust will reach him.

So yes- it is important for people to keep in mind that fiat currency is a scam which was used to keep the usury system bloating after the usurpation of gold and silver which are finite - where riots would bring down the usurers as soon as the gold and silver disappeared into the coffers of the usurers.
It is also a fact that you can't put people in government and get them to print gold and silver at every crunch (when all money in existence has been lent out to the public on usury and none is remaining to be issued in new loans, which also means that property usurpation will ensue since non-existent usury can't be returned with principal - and it gets even worse next time since all new fiat currency is issued on increase through usury).

- and as every day the bread gets thinner - the fiat currency ever bloats.
And as the digital scam unfolds - the illusion like smoke in a darkening room - ever continues to inflate and float....

One thing to realize about our fractional reserve banking system is that, like a child's game of musical chairs, as long as the music is playing, there are no losers."

Al-Baqarah 2:275

Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Satan by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).

Providence:

Ali was reported to have said:

His right eye will be punctured, and his left eye would be raised to his forehead and will be sparkling like a star. Only the believers will be able to read the word "Kafir" [disbeliever], inscribed in bold letters, on his forehead.
There will be big mountains of smoke at both front and backsides of his caravan.
People will anticipate food within those mountains, during the severe famine.
All rivers, falling in his way, will become dry and he will call upon people in a loud voice, "O my friends come to me! I am your lord who has made your limbs and given you sustenance."[5]

An interesting read (no irony intended - especially since the term "interest" was only used to cloak the explicit and dirty term "usury" for the sake of giving the practice some semblance of respectability).

"Another form of shirk is that you prefer ruling of mankind over Allah's ruling because it satisfies your carnal desires.....and the list goes on."

Maybe you got it backwards.. satisfying your Carnal desires..opens the door for an unholy ruling.

Although war is different... you can't really fake it.

"Say oh such and such person help me (when the person is not in front of you) that is Shirk-"

This is extremely common where I come from, people call upon objects and actions also..

Although to be fair, it's mainly to protect themselves from whatever it is that you want.. a person that never turns up can't really be judged can they?

There is a very good and logical reason why the Shahaadah of laa ilaaha illa Allah Muhammad ar rasool Allah begins by negating a falsehood and then goes on to clarify the truth - this is abc in psychology.

O ye of Faith! Say not (to the Messenger) words of ambiguous import, but words of respect; and hearken (to him): To those without Faith is a grievous punishment.

Aal-e-Imran 3:181

Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!

An-Nisa' 4:46

Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe.

An-Nisa' 4:171

O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

Al-Ma'idah 5:41

O Messenger! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by Allah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allah. For such - it is not Allah's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment.

Wait...you are complaining that he did not spoon feed someone about what is halaal and what is haraam? I am sure the most lowest level of Muslim already knows that riba, gays and homosexuality are haraam. I hope he does not believe that the majority of the audience are too idiot to figure that out...because if he have to go and explain it as spoon feeding people like they are bunch of moron than we are in big trouble. He is not teaching halal and haram here..his targeted audience are assumed already know what is halal and what is haram in the very obvious part since those are already taught us when we re little children. I also assume when he is been sarcastic that we are not too stupid to start to misinterpret that homosexuality is halal....because if we are that...sorry to say..lack of reasoning and intellect then my friend...I am going to cry blood for my brothers and sisters because we are more in trouble than I thought......I will be crying all the blood in my body then if that is the case.

I'm not complaining at all - rather i am informing him that he may inadvertently be undoing his words since positive receptors open on positive notes and stimuli - in this case - a positive nodding voice.
The human brain is a very primitive piece of biological hardware and has limitations, hence regardless of how intelligent and/or knowledgeable a person is - his/her brain's channels can be hacked through simple mechanisms such as the conditioning of Baby Albert with cooing and growling - also look into the research of Ian Pavlov in order to understand what i'm getting at.

The music industry uses such mechanisms with the aim of allowing falsehood to flow through wide open channels in the brain, abd Allah :swt: also uses mechanisms such as rhyming verse to make it easier for even the layman to retain truthful and sound logic.

Thank you so much for turning me into a primitive BIOS of a primitive computer system -_-...That really makes a man feel like a man! And here I thought human brain was a complex thing...but we are 10 lines of C++ code apparently.

Lol what i am saying is simple - confirming a false and unjust reality removes the shock factor and puts the client in the false matrix, i.e such an antisuggestion induces: "i'm already in hot water - how much more worse can it get".
Confirming the facts, clarifying the consequences, and prescribing the solution if possible actually leaves the edge of the shock factor on with zero warmth - and jolts the subject to want to never fall into it - it is more difficult for the subject to hopelessly resign to such a hapless situation if he/she knows that not everybody has fallen - this method is also used in elections (eg. Bush has taken florida).

George orwell (who used to work for the bbc) knew exactly how it works when he conjured up the party slogan.

War is peace
Freedom is slavery
Ignorance is strength

You might want to add brother imraan's "unlawful is lawful" to that since he has us living in orwellia even before the battle is over.

Another of orwell's maxims:

Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2=4

Now consider that silver coin in the middle east was .999 purity - and that the romans started meseeing with theirs.
Then it reached a stage in England that it reached 92.5% purity through dilution of baser metals around the time of the crusades.

This dodgy silver was later named "sterling silver" and 240 pennies of sterling silver would weigh 1 lb i.e one pound or .454 kg in weight on the scales - and this was known as one pound of sterling silver.
Now one pound of sterling silver costs 157.03 ÷100 x92.5 = 145.2481065 GBPounds sterling. As of 15-09-2018 according to the current silverprice.org estimate.
Now tell me that it's not a scam and i'll tell you you're an advocate for "friends of israel"

Which maths teacher would accept that 1=145.25 and get their students to do equations based on it - other than one who's name has rothschild at the end of it?

the bit about crypto-currencies at the end is actually a bigger scam though - since with that - the userer doesn't have to worry about a single credit leaving the banking system - ensuring the ability of the usury cartel to hold 100% purchasing power over every saleable item in any land where such smoke is accepted.

The Fiat Currency Fraud
Richard Russell

Richard Russell, one of the world’s most knowledgeable and respected financial advisors recently stated that fiat money is “the greatest fraud ever perpetuated on the American public.” Fiat money is paper currency, backed by nothing of intrinsic value – currency that derives its value solely by the faith placed in it by the people and nations who hold it. Every fiat currency in the history of the world has been devalued by government to the point that it has eventually been rendered worthless. Russell, in a recent article entitled “Fiat Money is Headed to the Graveyard, And The Gold Boom Hasn’t Even Begun” writes, “In the big picture, I believe we’re going to put fiat currency to the test. Fiat money allowed the U.S. to experience boom. Fiat money produced the tech bust, the equities bust and the housing bust. Fiat money is the vehicle that is created and sponsored by the world’s central banks. Fiat money will prove to be a fraud. Out of the graveyard of fiat money will emerge real intrinsic money – gold.”

In an exclusive interview with Monex, Russell commenting on the creation of paper money and the danger fiat currency presents to the American people stated,

“In my life, I can see what has happened to the purchasing power of the dollar, it’s been destroyed. To me it’s immoral – for savers, people who’ve saved their entire lives to find that the purchasing power of what they’ve saved is worth nothing.”

“People who are saving dollars, it’s going to be a tragedy, those dollars are losing purchasing power and people who have been able to save their whole lives are going to find out what I found out with my GI insurance policy – it’s not worth anything now. The real insurance policy is gold.”

“The history of paper currencies is that they all end up museum pieces, none of them have ever lasted, so if you were to ask me, ‘what would you leave your great-great grandkids say a 100 years from now, 75 years from now, the only answer I would give you is gold. Gold will be money, gold will be an item of value as far as you can look into the future. There’s nothing else that I can say that about.”

Russell is among a respected group of individuals who have spoken out with bold conviction to sound the alarm to warn citizens regarding the tragic fate of nations who, throughout history, have ignored proper financial constraints and turned their backs on real money, in favor of what would eventually be their downfall – fiat currency.

Consider the following quotes, derived from a wide range of respected authors, economists, and statesmen:

Ludwig von Mises
“Government is the only institution that can take a valuable commodity like paper, and make it worthless by applying ink....How pale is the art of sorcerers, witches, and conjurors when compared with that of the government’s Treasury Department.”
Austrian Economist, Ludwig von Mises (1881-1973)

Sir Thomas Gresham
“Bad money drives out good.”
(Lord Gresham’s Law)
“The Theory of Money and Credit” Sir Thomas Gresham (1519-1579)

Daniel Webster“Of all the contrivances for cheating the laboring class of mankind, none has been more effective than that which deludes them with paper money.”
Daniel Webster (1782-1852)

“Insanity is calling scraps of paper with meaningless numbers backed by nothing but debt a thing of value.”
Jim Sinclair (Founder Jim Sinclair’s Mine Set (www.jsmineset.com)

“In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation [...] Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the “hidden” confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights.”
“Gold and Economic Freedom” - Alan Greenspan, Former Fed Chairman (1968)

Thomas Paine
“Paper money is like dram-drinking, it relieves for a moment by deceitful sensation, but gradually diminishes the natural heat, and leaves the body worse than it found it. Were not this the case, and could money be made of paper at pleasure, every sovereign in Europe would be as rich as he pleased. But the truth is, that it is a bubble and the attempt vanity. Nature has provided the proper materials for money: gold and silver, and any attempt of ours to rival her is ridiculous....”
Thomas Paine (1737-1809)

Thomas Jefferson
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

John Maynard Keynes
“By this means (fractional reserve banking) government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft.”
John Maynard Keynes (1883-1946), The Economic Consequences of the Peace (1919)

Amschel Rothschild
“Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes the laws.”
Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812)

Henry Ford
“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before morning.”
Henry Ford (1863-1947)

Lord Josiah Stamp
“The modern banking process manufactures currency out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of slight hand that was ever invented...If you want to be slaves of the bankers, and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let the banks create currency”.
Lord Josiah Stamp, Former Director of the Bank of England (1880-1941)

Robert Wiedemer
“Based entirely on logic, and the evidence at hand, the dollar can and will fall...Unfortunately, falling bubbles are exactly what we have, and a decline in the massive inflow of foreign capital to the United States is all it will take to start bringing the dollar (and all the other bubbles) down.”
“Aftershock” (Protect Yourself and Profit in the Next Global Financial Meltdown)
Authors - David Wiedemer, PhD, Robert Wiedemer, Cindy Spitzer

Regarding, the 'halal being haram' view. This may have been taken from the Quran in which there is a direct warning, such as:

"And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah . Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed." (Quran 16:116)

As with giving a scholarly ruling some seem to use the 'making what is halal to be haram' for a similar warning or admonishing. Maybe, this is where it has originated? (similar ayahs)

Thank you sister for those comforting words...my biggest fear is to die mushrik and what is more horror than a virus epidemic is to know you are in it and not know you are part of it. That is my nightmare everyday...I want so badly to live in Muslim world....I want it...I crave it...I need it. I need to hear Athaan every day from duhir till fajir...I need it like I need oxygen to breath. I want to wake up...make ablution....and walk in that street as the athaan is calling so I pray with thousands of Muslims with me...my heart desire it. Human being is created to worship Allah....he is created for that purpose alone...it is abnormal to his nature to do otherwise.................

How much as Muslims are we asleep? Damn...damn..damn we are so asleep it is not even funny. We are like walking zombies....and we need to wake up now before we wake up in the grave as the two angels question us....what waking up then will do to us? I have been asleep this long about monetary system and how economy and money is and it is only for the past 3 to 4 days I am awake on that???!! THEN HOW MUCH OF ASLEEP I AM still and ignorant I am in my religion...I am terrified with fear. Did you know that cell phones by the way are destroying the boy gene? Radio wave and WiFi are wiping out the boy gene...like wiping it clean....how many parents had cell phones to their boys or laptops and not care. What is worse...it does not matter if you do not hand them the devices because the radio wave in the air is doing the job. Singapore each year less and less and less boys are been born. There is already a crisis there where sisters are not finding husbands. Their just not find any. The sisters are going to the mosques and crying...weeping and begging to find a husband and they are not finding them. What are we doing to stop that? Nothing. Because we are asleep like zombies. We just are. It is a mess.

Today I realized also that the people in the masjid who are doing khutba are so engrossed in their worldly affair when I hear them talk..I am not recharged. I don't feel anything. But this guy..through youtube...from across the world..prerecorded already is getting me hyped and awake....we need more like him to wake us up. To make us ponder. To make us shake a little bit. I have not seen one in any mosque where I live in Canada, BC have done that. Sorry. You know what made me so upset too...this sheikh said that it is obligatory for a Muslim man who have means to marry because it is the right of the woman to have a husband and if you do not get married you will be questioned. So I was scared. Again...I was asleep. I ran to the mosque and told them my age and my salary and I am not married...and funny thing...they did not push me to get married. They did not say..hey..this is a Muslim brother ..he is a good person...he is not married until this age..this is wrong....and we have sisters who need to find a husband...let us make it easy to him to help him find a wife who is ok with a brother who makes minimum wage..and so on. Like an action ..to show there is an actual Muslim community who are helping each other and uniting with each other. HECK even say...you know what...let us help him find a better job..so he makes good money and help him find a wife...and we will get huge reward for that...

Before you think about leaving for a Muslim world, understand that sometimes these places are not corruption free. But, may Allah swt give and guide you to what is best. (for your life in this world and the hereafter - and for us all) Ameen. By the way, I have only given my initial view, surely speaking to this particular scholar and other scholars you will get the best understanding possible. Compared to them, my view is irrelevant. However, I'd remind that a believer need to be balanced between fear and hope. If, there's more fear presented than it means more righteous actions are required. We were placed at this time and therefore we must have what it takes to deal with situations and events. Thank you for the tip with cellphones, I'm aware and have limited my use as well as microwaves and likewise the internet. Need to disconnect some more. Inshaa'Allah.

Thank you sister for those kind words. And yes...if you have sons..slap them on the back of their heads if you have too...but never let them use cells phones and especially DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING HOT on their laps...and especially a laptop. Besides these technologies are harming our children more than good. It used to be a time where children where way more advanced than nowadays...TVs, cell phones, computers, video games, playstations, etc...they are damaging the minds of our youth...removing their ability to have long attention span, read books, comprehend, use their imaginations...have critical thinking, able to comprehend, have social skills, have good physical body and the ones who are more harmed are the boys. This is destructive to civilization at the highest core. Girls too will be harmed if they keep watching TVs and using technology by the way...they are not immune to this. We human beings where not created to sit in front of a square screen with bombarding images at all....our intake of food is also harmful to us...processed food, hormones in meat...genetically modified vegetables and foods, processed food...too much unnatural sugar..by the way..sugar and carbohydrate harms the brain and causes it to be dull and lack of thinking and attention span....

Please...please...please if you have children..home school them. Trust me. They are not missing much in public school (especially in Canada). All they are missing been mixed with opposite gender, if you have sons all they will be missing that are taught homosexuality is ok, or have naked female teachers teaching them..or have special pressure in society in school to have girlfriends or knocking a girl up or been sued for false sexual allegation as in the West we LOVE SAYING THIS MAN raped me or this boy raped me...we LOVE IT HERE...we LOVE destroying men and boys under guise of allegation and rape...oh we love it in Canada and USA. Sooo..yeah....they are not missing much.

I will never forget the day at high school when the female math teacher have her skirt up I can <blank> and she lay there on the table putting her feet on the other and I lost focus on her math lecture and where more focused on the boys in the class who are watching her and I was rolling my eyes.

That my brothers and sisters what kufar Western school provide us....pretty much and that was like 15 to 20 years ago...I cannot imagine how bad it is now.
