If a woman eats to marry a man and her father (or other wali) disagrees with it for something unreasonable for example he’s racist and another male (like her uncle agrees) what happens then? Also, what happens in the scenario where there is no wali?
Also, does a man need permission to marry too ?

A man does not need permission to marry. He can marry any woman he chooses (as prescribed in the Qura'an)...however the shoulder of responsibility and consequences that he chooses goes into him alone. Even if the mother disapproves or father disapproves he can still marry without their permission.
A boy who reaches puberty of age when he can produce semen he is considered an adult and if he have a job and can make money he can marry at that age. I think it is best if he does marry at the youngest age possible where he have the highest peek at that age and can make healthy babies. But alas life have changed...eh.:facepalm::facepalm::facepa lm::facepalm: It is amazing how fast a boy will mature if he leaves the nest and marries at the youngest age possible...marriage will make a man out of him fast...especially if he becomes a father.
