And I've started reading it front to back. I must say, it's very impressive. I feel like it's speaking directly to me and giving me solutions to all my problems... It's so bizarre.. I never got this feeling while reading the bible.. It's just so straight forward, and poetic.

Asalamu Alaikum

Rather than reading the Qur'an alone, you should read a tafsir. I'd recommend Ibn Kathirs:

It's much better for you to do this if you want to develop a good understanding of what the Qur'an says.
