Peace and blessings of Allah to you. Hi I am a new Muslim. I converted to Islam with the help of another Muslim several months ago. I have been in constant study of my new faith. I have bought several English translations of the Quran for study and am working at understanding the language of the Holy Prophet (SAW). I am having a difficult time with the Salat primarily the Arabic. Any wisdom that can be shared with me as a new Muslim as well as websites (Muslim only) would be most helpful. I am blessed to know Islam and the words of the Holy Prophet (SAW) all praise to Allah, the beneficent, the merciful!

Please read this website which provides good reasons about why Islam is the truth (in case you have 2nd thoughts about converting):
http://islamandmuslims123.blogspot.com/
Also, it's called an English translation of the meaning of the Qur'an, the Qur'an itself cannot be translated.
Please also use these websites to further your understanding of Islam:

Peace and blessings in the name of Allah. Thank you for the resources. I have done a lot of reading and I found a lot of videos on Salat. I am now more confident in my prayers. I have to go slow and I am still working on pronunciation. My job has a room for Salat that I can use. There are mats and they already face the Ka’aba. I also have a app on my phone called Muslim Pro with alarms for prayer times and direction to the Ka’aba.
I clean my my hands before prayer. There are times when I miss Salat but I try my best to make my prayers.

Again the link was very helpful in teaching to pray correctly.

Before prayer, it is a requirement to make wudhuu, not only cleaning hands.
Here's a thread detailing the requirements of prayer and a lot of helpful tips.

Hello, I am new to this site. I have not converted to islam, as of yet. I have been exploring and learning about it through a sense of curiosity. I amnot completely sure I am on the right path for myself, as of yet, but wanted to come here and learn new things and get more of feeling if it is right for me or not. Thank you.

Welcome to the site. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. There are many very knowledgeable people on around.
I hope you quickly open up your heart to Allah, it may seem like a big step and it can be intimidating. But you will feel better for it once you make the first step.

Quran 2:231 comes to mind.

I have converted and I learned salah a month ago. Just look at videos and struggle your way through it. I'll link the video I used for surah Al-fatihah.
