Wa alaikum assalam

I know and believe in tawhid in simple way:

''Allah (SWA) in the Holy Quran has said: ‘Say, “The Truth is: Allah is one. Allah is Besought of all, needing none. He neither begot anyone, nor was begotten. And equal to Him has never been anyone.’ (Surah Ikhlas v.1 – v.4)

Allah (SWA) comprises all the attributes of perfection and is free from all kinds of imperfections. The word ‘Ahad’ signifies that Allah (SWA) is beyond composition, plurality and resemblance, which means that He is neither composed of any elements nor does He have any partner nor has He any resemblance to anything.

(Maariful Quran p.915 v.8)

But according to islamqa.info it is divided in different categories

Your God is surely One.-
(37:4)-inna Ilaaha-kum-la-Wahid

The term-Tawheed-demands a lengthier translation, namely: “the realization-and-affirmation-of-Oneness. The Unity of God, the Divine Unity, Unity in its most profound sense. Allah is The Real, The Absolute. Allah is One in His Essence, His Attributes and His Acts. Before the existence of the universe there was nothing but The Creator.-

The Qur`an declares that “Nothing is like Him” (42:11). Allah is omniscient and all-powerful. All of Allah’s attributes belong to Him exclusively. He is the first and there is no last but His oneness. He is the First without anything before Him. He is the Last without anything after Him. The end is with Him alone, and He is the End. He is All-Existing: with him there is no end. Allah is now as Hbe was before. He is Eternal.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

In relation for protection from Shirk - Do You Know The Supplication Taught To Us By The Messenger of Allah Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him)?

The Messenger (S.A.W) warned us against shirk, fearing that his Ummah might fall into it, and said “The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk.” The Messenger (S.A.W) also said: “Shirk among you is more subtle than the sound of the footsteps of an ant on a rock. Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, it will take that away from you both minor and major forms of it” (Saying this Du’a).
