When you say aoozoobillah himinashaytan nirajeem, can it do more than get rid of waswas? Cam it do things like alleviate pain?

Yes, reading this ( aoozoobillah himinashaytan nirajeem) manages a lot of waswas, but needs a lot of hard to get rid of it.

Asalaamualaykum:

Saying "A'oozobila....." is to keep Shaytaan away.

As for the pain part : The most recommended Ayah to read is Sura Al Fatiya : Sura Al Fatiya is also know as Sura As Shifa
