View Full Version : How to cure the problem of being shy that I'm Muslim?

Recently, I just got a really weird feeling. I'm shy to tell to others that I'm Muslim, and I can't explain why. And whenever a non Muslim asks me what religion I follow, I start to murble, and my Christian mother speaks for me by telling that I'm trying to follow Islam, and I told as a little lie just to cover myself that it is because of ISIS who makes me feel shy, because I hate for others to confuse me with them, just like that poor Syrian teenager who got beaten up by some morons for nothing, and they think that this boy is like ISIS. And thats one of the reasons.

Why do I get this weird feeling?! I should have this feeling, am I committing a disbelief by this? I only keep for myself that I am a Muslim, and I let God To See this from me, not others.

How should I cure from this horrible feeling which I deal with? Why do I get it? How can I find the answer for this question?
