I heard from a Bayyinah video a Hadith which stated that Muslims shouldn’t act in hatred to women as they are reminded of one of her good qualities. Does this apply in the case if a woman seriously wronged you e.g a wife having an affair, are you allowed to be angry at her for that?

Anger is natural. But you shouldn't purposely be hateful. Solve the problem is what your supposed to do. Even if someone wrongs you, try to respect them and if she is STILL your wife, then it would be best to forgive her and treat her with kindness. However, if you are divorced, then there is no point in dwelling on the past.
