Salam all. I have spent/wasted the last year sinning and deliberately transgressing against Allah S.W.T. Yes, i was a moron. I knew in my heart that i was wrong yet i continued. Done some pretty messed up things online but haven't hurt anyone. I deliberately sought out things aganist/wrong in islam and thereby further destroyed my faith I was constantly given warnings to turn back yet i refused, but in the beginning of this month I was, in a way, given a kind of evidence that Islam was the one true way yet i still persisted. Now im suffering badly due to an illness and that caused me to finally turn back but this illness persists. (I have gone to the doc, so far no avail)
Can someone please tell me a dua, the best one to ask for forgiveness? Also a dua to help one fall asleep?
In dire need.
Thanks for reading. I messed up big time:cry:

Dua [27.6] Sayyidinal Istighfar (Best way to ask forgiveness)

O Allaah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant

Allaahumma 'Anta Rabbee laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, khalaqtanee wa 'anaa 'abduka,

and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed.

I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin,

a'oothu bika min sharri maa sana'tu, 'aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa 'aboo'u bithanbee

so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.

faghfir lee fa'innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa 'Anta.
