Assalamu alaikum,

Today my mom took me to hospital and the doctors admitted me so that I will do nasal surgery tomorrow and Allah knows how long I'm gonna stay in hosptial, maybe for one week...

The problem is: there is no clean place for praying in hospital, and all the rooms are occupied and used, there is no available room in hospital where I cab perform prayers.

Does this makes me a disbeliever or I'm excused?

Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu

Brother if due to your surgery you cant pray standing you can pray sitting and if you cant do that pray lying down please see below

https://islamqa-info.cdn.ampproject....gatory-prayers

As for the hospital being unclean this is probably just waswas as they keep them spotless but if your still worried pray using a towel as a prayer mat

Finally if you cant make wuddoo because of your surgery you can make tayummun with clean earth just get your mum to bring you in a small jar of soil and use that please see below on how to perform tayyumun

Al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated the hadeeth of ‘Ammaar ibn Yaasir describing tayammum. Al-Bukhaari narrated it in a number of places in his Saheeh. One of these reports (no. 347; 1/455 of Fath al-Baari) says: “ ‘It would have been sufficient for you to do this’ – then he struck the palms of his hands on the ground, then dusted them off, then wiped the back of each hand with the other, then he wiped his face with his hands.”

Brother Allah has made so many concessions for us and made things so easy for us subhanAllah we really have no excuse not to pray

I understand this, but in hospital are only Christians and my mom is a Christian too, so if they see me doing it, they would feel really disturbed because they dont understand my way of praying, they would look at me as a freak. And also I have roommates who are Christians, but Muslims? There are no Muslim in hospital, only me. I have also read on internet that if you pray in public, and otherd would feel disturbed by it, then the prayer would become invalid.

Firstly the statement your prayer is invalid if others are disturbed is completely false so I dont know where you got this from. Not everything you read on the internet is true you should know this by now

Brother end of the day Christian's watching is not an excuse not to pray. I know you feel shy but why should you? They aren't shy about openly committing shirk which is the most destructive sin so why should you be shy about worshipping Allah alone

May Allah make things easy for you to fulfill your Salah

They won't think you're a freak as they know there's different religions and they'll just assume you're a religious person doing your prayer, so just do it! :)

Yes, but I saw on Youtube a Muslim woman doing experiment on New York of how people will react to this if they see it, and since I saw it, I started to feel shy for myself to pray in public. I really wish to have her courage to do it, but unfortunate I dont have it.

That was a stupid experiment in a park full of people or something. Those experiments are designed to provoke people by being all in their face and inconveniencing them so they can have a dramatic YouTube video and get lots of clicks

No one in a hospital is likely to bother you if you pray as long as you're not blocking anyone's path

Infact if that woman chose a quite corner to pray no one would have bothered her

You shouldn't fear the people but fear Allah

And wether you manage to pray or not, don't worry, according to the majority of Scholars and the dominant Islamic view you will not be kaafir, you will only be kaafir if you believe missing prayer isn't a sin but as long as you don't deny the obligation of the prayers and it's sinfulness to miss it then you remain a believer

Fard prayer is the most important and a hadith says that those who pray five times daily (until death) they cross the sirat like lightening and go to jannah without reckoning (I'll post up full hadith and reference of it later) so this is what you should try to perfect in life and not be searching for a majical dua or nafl prayers that will guarantee you jannah. As you can see, it's hard enough establishing the 5 daily prayers for new practicing Muslims like you so focus on fearing nothing and perfecting the regular fard prayers

Nafl prayers and dua's certainly helps us along the way but when you havnt established this basic key to jannah yet it doesn't make sense to obsess over dua's and superergatory prayers as the guarantor of jannah
