The Prophet pbuh said, “None of you will have faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

In another narration, the Prophet pbuh said, “Until he loves for his neighbour what he loves for himself.” (Source: al-Bukhari and Muslim)

One of the most beloved possession is faith (Emaan). This is something many of us underestimate and sometimes even take for granted. It's the blessings and mercy of Allah who has guided us to the right path. Since we live in this material world so we don't value these blessings.

In the above mentioned Hadith, faith is linked with our treatment or behaviour what we love for ourselves same treatment should be given to our brother, sister or neighbour or other people.

What does this treatment mean ? Firstly it is the golden rule; treat others how you want to be treated. You don’t want to be backbitten, so don’t backbite others, you want respect for yourself; respect others. Don't judge a person in view of material things. This hadith brings our hearts closer and develops care and concerns for others. Here, we should treat people equally (Muslims and non Muslims both). This way, we will never feel hatred towards other Nowadays, these mob lynching suddenly started to pop up around the world threatening the social and economical prosperity and creating the atmosphere of fear and agitation.

Secondly it means you place yourself in someone else’s shoes and think: what would I have desired? And then desire the same for him. Imagine if every Muslim would live by this hadith then most of the problems between people would be solved and we would know true brotherhood!

There is something we all know we should do, but in real life many of us don’t because our hearts are ill or corrupted. This hadith helps us to purify our heart towards others with the best of treatment in respect, care as well as giving any kind of material things that one like for himself. More importantly, we cant take risk with our faith as no one know when he/she will die. We (Muslim) want to die as Momin.

"Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed – those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship]". [Quran, 5:55]Attachment 6735
