In the "non-nerdy/camp" "crime drama thriller" superhero franchise "the dark knight" we are presented in batman begins with bruce wayne, a young boy who is scared of bats, and which leads to him and his parents leaving an opera (they are a billionaire family), and going out a dark entrance and his parents being gunned down in the midst of a robbery while the city tackles a crime problem and mob problem, despite his parents efforts to help the poor, ironically. we are also presented with his childhood sweetheart (of course) and his butler, who raises him after their death. when the murderer is called for a possible early release for dirt on an organized criminal, bruce plots to gun him down, but one of the mobsters's henchmen does it himself. bruce travels the world and meets an overzealous vigilante (who turns out to be the real "ras al ghul" not the guy they show for a few seconds who speaks chinese, of course hollywood, and the player of the real pone is none other liam neeson, the stereotypical tough irishman......who would suspect...WAIT! not there yet!) just as bruce is about to execute a criminal the organization called the league of shadows ras al ghul runs has captured, despite his pleas that he can not become an executioner, he burns down the building (ending the organization?) he becomes batman, a logo to hide his identity to protect his childhood sweetheart and his butler. ras al ghul emerges and tries to destroy the city but is killed. the love of his life, rachel, says she can not marry him because "he is not the little boy she knew as a child" in the next episode, "the dark knight"
an even more heinous man, man this time openly called a "terrorist" and laughed at as a "clown" (who also dresses up like a clown) the Joker, terroizes gotham city like never before, and rachel is killed just as she is confessing to harvey dent (the district attorney who she works with to pass legislation to crack down on crime, just as he was about to have the bill passed) her love for him. harvey is scarred in the explosion in another building, and is convnced into evil and binary way of thinking at the flip of a coin
(thus giving him the name "two face" by others as well as his scar), batman eavesdrops on the conversations of the people of gotham, uses torture against the joker in the process of trying to save rachel (who he openly implied he was going to save instead of harvey, talk about being human, oh but he was tricked into saving wrong one). and uses many techniques similar to the busha dministrations war on terror and many people's blame on him to not heed the joker's demand to turn himself in even to the point that harvey turned himself in and says he is secretly batman" (but is saved) led many movie critics to say the movie was both a criticism of the bush administration for creating the conditions for more terror by trying to eliminate terrorism, and was released in 2008 an election year (im not making this up its on wikipedia and various articles). in the movie, batman had to give up his reputation to let the legislation pass, and thus took the blame for harvey dent's crimes.
but there is a more sinister message. if you look closer. in 2012(another election year, jeez) bane is the disowned disciple of ras al ghul who was too extreme, and became even more fearsome, even stronger than batman in his prime. *gasps* he takes a city hostage with a nuclear weapon which he formed out of a device which he stole from batman after batman gave control of wayne enterprises to a woman......he had feelings for. all the while catwoman the thief is trying to get a device that can erase her record. she works with batman but betrays him but likes him ahhhhhh gosh hollywood. in the end, batman gets rid of the bomb, pretends to die, but actually lives happily forever after vacationing with catwoman in europe, while his butler,
who urged him to give up vigilantism and leave the city saying it has brought him nothing but misery
and said, "i always had to fantasy when i visited (insert city batman and catwoman were in here). i would sit down, read the paper, look across, and see you there, with a woman, and we woouldn't say a word to one anoter, because we'd both know, you were happy"...........sees him across the tables with catwoman and doesn't say a word, nor him, became both know, he was happy.

also worthy to note is that in the 2008 movie they left the movie on the note with the police chief referring to batman as "the hero gotham deserves, but not the kind it needs right now," whereas in 2012 the dark knight rises, it is "he was...the hero gotham needed....but not the kind it deserved...." so more a praise of the bush administration

God knows what you're on about, is that your version of a movie review with a (very) late spoiler?

i noticed the movie was packed with propaganda from those who run the american government when i watched it - and that there were multiple mind hacks included . . . But the joker died in real life . . . May have stepped too far in skewing the scales.

...

...did you really just summarise the movie and include spoilers without actually saying anything else?

Truly.

You have outdone the modern age.

Also I like films a lot.. I'm kinda of the "unbreakable" train of though when it comes to hollywood conspiracies.

The prequels and sequels are not bad either.

No point in paying attention to hidden symbolisms. It's just a distraction for us Muslims

I am not too sure what you are asking here. But it seems you are paying far too much attention to a movie. Yes some movies have symbols in them. But trying to over analyze them to find out what it was kind of is pointless. Those movies are made with mainly 1 goal. To make money by entertaining the people watching them. They would probably put any sort of message as long as it made the movie sell more tickets. It does not really spread a message, it is just noise.

That is why, just like Ahmed said, movies are a distraction. They are not just fantasies that can make weird and unnatural things look normal and they waste your time. Now your time is yours to waste, but I am sure you can find more productive use of it.
