Salam everyone. As you can see, I am a new memeber and I am proud to be apart of the Islamic forum community.
To start off, I've been dealing with verbal bullying in college. It has caused me emotional distress to the point where I
isolate myself just to avoid it. I wanted to know which Surahs and/or Duas that I can recite that would protect me from
enemies and jealous people. May peace be unto everyone. :hijab2:

Salaam,

I am sorry to see that you are getting bullied in your college. Try this dua as mentioned in sahih bukhari 6347,

"Oh Allah I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of hardships. And the acquisition of wretechedness and ill fate and enemy malicious rejoicing for my suffering "

Ask the headmaster of your college or parent about the bullying issue aswell. May Allah grant you patience and strength to bear your hardship

JazakAllah

Thank you very much for this information. May I ask, when should I recite this dua? Is it before I encounter the bullies or before I arrive to school?

Is there a mosque in your area? Maybe you can pray fajr there? There is a hadith, I think that whomever prays fajr in the mosque will be protected by harm. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Sorry you have to go through this. Stay strong and make some Muslim friends if there are any in your school.

There are many duas, I will list few and inshallah we can all benefit from these:

1. Try to recite verses 1,2,3,4, 255, 256, 257, 284, 285 and 286 of Al Baqarah to seek safety for self and property.

2. Recite last half of verse 21 from Surah 28 (Alqasas).
My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.
3. Recite
Hasbi Allahu wa ne’mal wakil
( Translation: Allah is sufficient for me and is the best trustee of affairs). This is from verse 174 Surah Al-Imran

4. Recite following dua three times in the morning and three times in the evening for protection against anything. This is from sahih hadith in Ibn Majah.

Bismillaahil-lathi la yaDorro ma’asmehe shay’on feel-ArDe wala fees-samaa’ wa who-wa As-samee’o Al-Aleem.
Translation: In the name of Allah with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven harms and He is the All-Hearing the All-Knowing

5. Recite following Dua from Sahih Bukhari which is recommended for protection against hardships and for protection against enemies.
