So, I recently witnessed an exchange between a father-in-law and daughter-in law and wanted to hear some views. The father-in-law was standing with his shoes on his feet and the daughter in law was on her hands and knees cleaning her father-in-laws shoes with a towel while he just stood there. I discussed this with a friend and stated I thought the girl was being de-graded and disrespected. My friend on the other hand said it is part of our culture and totally acceptable. Any thoughts?
