Why are some people allowed to commit sins without consequence?

Can anyone explain why we have muslims committing sins and have been commiting them for a long long time and still carry on doing so without facing any consequences. It's bad enough any non religious person 'without any religious foundation for humanity and peace' committing sins, but to have muslims commiting it too? Hmm no one is perfect but there has to come a time when one thinks about repenting and stopping their sins.

Nevertheless we always pray to be guided on the straight path ourselves and we also pray for the misguided ones to have their hearts softened and to be guided too.

Apologies again for yet another pessimistic view from myself.

Sallams. Just know Allah is just and if they don't get it now they're gonna wish they dealt with the consequences now than in the hereafter. It could be a lot of reasons. Maybe Allah is waiting for them to repent b4 they're doomed for eternity for example. Allahu'alam

Also this is dunaya...Earth...it is paradise for evil doers, criminals, disbelievers, etc. That is the point. You want this world...you can have it but in return, hellfire is your abode. For Muslims this is prison. You are restricted to fulfill your whims and desires. However, in return you have paradise.

You get it? Either sell afterlife for this world (which is stupid) or sell this world for afterlife (which is smart). However, there are lots of retar<censor> in this world....so that might explain the issue of the original OP.

There are ALWAYS consequences...just maybe not visible to you or not yet. But there are always consequences...sooner or later...in this world or the next.

Since nobody is free of sins, Muslim or not, I guess it all depends on what types of sins and consequences you are talking about.

The 'without consequences' part is because of Allah's immeasurable mercy..... Allah withholds punishments from Muslims to give them a chance to repent.

Let's be happy about the 'no consequences' part lest we get the consequences we undoubtedly deserve too :o

Let us assume high adverse impact on family, community and humanity type sins.....

The anser to this is very simple and could be understood if we can understand the verses below:

As for he who gives and fears Allah
And believes in the best [reward],
We will ease him toward ease.

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need
And denies the best [reward],
We will ease him toward difficulty.
[Quran 92:5-10]

You will see that there are Muslims scholars who have written so many books and have done so many good deeds that some times we wonder, how did he/she get time to do so much in such a small time? The answer is in verses 5-7 of Surah Al-Lail, Allah makes it easy for them and put His barakah in anything they do. It is easy for some people to pray all five prayers in the mosque. Praying tahajud, Ishraq and all obligatory prayers including the sunnah is very easy for some of us and for others it is really hard. That's how we can tell how much close we are to Allah. If doing good deeds is easy for us then we should know that we are on the right track.

On the other hand there are people who are created only for hell fire. Allah makes it easy for them to do bad things. Allah makes bad things easy for them by not punishing sometimes and putting attraction in the bad things for them. It is said the Pharaoh at the time of Moses PBUH lived for more than 400 years and he never got sick. This made him think that he is god and that's how Allah made disbelief easy for him.

If people are not being punished in this world then it is also by Mercy of Allah. But this does not mean that wrongdoers can avoid the punishment of Allah, they surely will taste the punishment of Allah.

Allah says in Quran:

And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape. [Quran 18:58]

I think personally it can be difficult to wait for their appointment in the hereafter... while the wrongdoers do substantial damage now. Lives may be at risk. We've had our car burnt, windows smashed, lies spread about my family even they know they are lying, it's obvious they are covering their tracks and evading blame.

I'm sure I'm paying for my sins right now based on calamity after calamity, maybe there wont be a appointment for us, who knows.

It does cross my mind often to commit sin to respond in a language they may understand.. I'm afraid Il be way out of my depth and i wont be within the barriers of our law.

This world is indeed a prison because it is a period of test for the believers.
Jannah is the rewarding result.The door we all want to unlock to go in is indeed the door of Jannah ul Firdaus. Allah says:

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. [Quran 2:214]

“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and properties (in exchange) for that they will have the garden (of Paradise)…”[ Quran 9:111]

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the unbeliever. [Source: Sahih Muslim 2956]

This world is like a prison for the believer, meaning that the way a prisoner isn’t free and is bound by rules, the affair of a believer is the same, this world is not one of freedom for them but one of rules and obligations towards Allah. The believer at all times keeps these rules and obligations in front of him.
