Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

This thread is about whether it's healthy for muslims to be obsessed with current affairs and politics to the extent that that's all they're ever interested in. They just see 'worldly problems' of muslims and think the solution lies in muslims being aware of it and politically active to solve it.

To such muslims I'll say, brother and sisters, you are wasting your life and time away

Solution lies in IBADAH and DAWAH, and. DUA, and ZIKRUL.LAH, and maybe 10 percent of current affairs and politics rather than 100.

Allah (swt) is the problem solver, the punishment withholder, the one who takes mercy, and problems and suffering happen because of our sins, so the solution is ALWAYS to turn to Allah in ibadah.....

Wa akhiri dawah anilhamdulillah hirabil 'alameen.

Wa alaykum salam

I personally hate politics.

But what I know is, dont bother with the enemies of Islam.

Be pious and stay on deen, and work... help your family. Victory comes with Taqwa

They plot and plan whatever against Islam and us musoims...

And Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners.

I want to share 3 verses that I have found to be an inspiration. From Surah At-Taariq

86:15

Indeed they are planning a plan.

86:16

But I am planning a plan.

86:17

So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.

So don't worry or waste precious time worrying and panicking. Life is complicated enough as it is.

Do your duties.

And Allah knows best

Yup, do our duties but also be politically active and aware of the plight of ummah, but the ratio should be 90% of the former to 10% of the latter
