Aslam alykum

As of Tuesday March 17, 2020 according to Matt Reynolds,
"What started as an epidemic mainly limited to China has now become a truly global pandemic.
There have now been over 189,452 confirmed cases and 7,505 deaths, according the John Hopkins University
Covid-19 dashboard, which collates information from national and international health authorities.
The disease has been detected in at least 150 countries and territories, with Italy, Iran and Spain
experiencing the most widespread outbreaks outside of China. In the UK, there have been 1,950 confirmed cases and 71 deaths as of March 17."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was wondering if the corona virus (that came recently and has impacted almost the whole world) is a PUNISHMENT from
Allah to clean the world and make people turn back to Allah and repent and do good deeds - or is it what some people say
that Corona virus came into existence because of a market, a farm, a food processing company in Wuhan China. And I heard there
is a market where some evil cruel Chinese people, eat live animals such as bats, rats, and snakes and so one YAK! so some people
say thats how the virus begun. And some chinese are saying the US army went to china and made it up lol, so I believe it could be a punishment
of Allah and also a lesson to be learn, Allah knows best. So what's your opinion and what can you back it up with?

Assalam o Alaikum rahamutullahi wa barakuthu

We believe that Allah the Wise sends calamity. He does not do it out of jest, rather He sends it with wisdom and truth.

Poor or rich, black or white, arab or non arab, brown or yellow, beauitful or ugly or different nationality, they suffered from this virus. This calamity is lesson that we human are all equal in sight of Allah, and that only Taqwa is true superoritiy.

Of so called "powerful country" China got affected very badly. it teaches us that Allah is All-Powerful and we are under His control, we cannot do anything against Him. Everything that we have, clothing, shoes, foods is from Allah, and if He wishes. He can take away all of them from us and then causes us to be naked, bare footed, thristy and starving. And Allah knows best.

Were seeing governments and populations having panic attacks about coronavirus

Death toll is something like 7000 since November

Statistically 8500 children die from starvation each day

Wheres the global panic attack about that

wa'alaykumussalaam It does seem as punishment from Allah as the Chinese government have taken many actions against Islam, as well as oppressing the Uyghur muslims.
Allah is certainly able to send punishment of all kinds, from where they perceive and not perceive : the US, disease from the animals, lack of hygiene in the market and animal cage/tank, lab experiment (there is a story about a shop that bought dead bats from someone who worked in the lab in Wuhan. These bats were previously subjected to lab experiments)?

And how many a generation before them did We destroy, who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape? (Qaf 36)

They attempt to change the Qur'an

But Allah already said : And recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no changer of His words, and never will you find in other than Him a refuge. (Al-Kahf 27)

Allowing, supporting the sale of what Allah has prohibited to eat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPpoJGYlW54

Allah said in the Qur'an : Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Al-Ma'idah 3)
And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place. (Al-Kahf 29)
Did they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private conversations and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen?(At-Tawbah 78)

But Allah is Most Just and Merciful. If they repent and stop what they are doing, inshaAllah He will accept

Man shouldn't neglect result of his action
Wheat for wheat, barley for barley gives fruition

The coming of the virus and its spread is no punishment "from" god as you think, but people let it spread through their carelessness, alas.

Wa Alaikumus Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Do you know the power of Dua? Dua is a weapon of a believer!

Do you fear the Corona Virus ❓

Pronunciation: Hasbi-yallahu laaa i-laha il-la Huwa, aa-lai-hi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rab-bul arshil aa-zeem.

Meaning: Allah is sufficient for me. None has the right to be worshipped but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

Virtue: Verily, for those who place their full trust in their Lord, seeking all good from Him, Allah will send for him help from different sources – be it from people or a change in circumstances.

Sadly poverty is not contagious, so it remains invisible.

In the spirit of praying for justice for all people,

Salaamu Alaikum
A sister shared this in my Qur'an class.
During this pandemic it's best time to turn to Allah.
*DONT CURSE The CORONAVIRUS*

[emoji736] It's brought back humanity

[emoji736] Brought back people to their Creator and to their morals

[emoji736] It closed down bars, night clubs, brothels, casinos

[emoji736] It brought down interest rates

[emoji736] Brought families together

[emoji736] Stopped lewd behaviour
It has stopped people eating dead and forbidden animals

[emoji736] So far it has moved one third of military expenditure to health care

[emoji736] Arab countries have banned shisha.

[emoji736] Coronavirus is pushing people to make dua

[emoji736] It undermines dictators and their powers

[emoji736] Humans are now worshipping God rather than progress and technology

[emoji736] It is forcing authorities to look at its prisons and prisoners

[emoji736] It has taught humans how to sneeze, yawn and cough as was taught by our Prophet (ﷺ) over 1400 years ago

[emoji736] Coronavirus is now making us stay at home, living simple lives and we make shukr to Allah Az’Wajjal for waking us up to reality and to giving us an opportunity to ask Him for His forgiveness and His help.

[emoji736] There is a great lesson in this for those who are wise.

Yes; I'd say that ALLAH (SWT) is very disappointed with us all, and so HE is teaching us a Lesson, by inflicting us with the Coronavirus!! The Human Race in general, thinks it's so clever, by inventing and using and relying on modern technology! And so as a result, we've become so arrogant!! Our Ignorance, in the Eyes of ALLAH (SWT) is astounding!! We all need to wake up to ourselves and Repent, and start Worshiping ALLAH (SWT) properly, again! Aameen.
