Aisha reported:

She asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about plagues and he said, “It is a punishment that Allah sends upon whoever he wills, but Allah has made it a mercy for the believers. Any servant who resides in a land afflicted by plague, remaining patient and hoping for reward from Allah, knowing that nothing will befall him but what Allah has decreed, he will be given the reward of a martyr.”

Only if people would have acted upon this hadith, coronavirus would not have turned into world epidemic.
And Allah knows the best!

Wa Alaikumus Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Do you know the power of Dua? Dua is a weapon of a believer!

Do you fear the Corona Virus ❓

Pronunciation: Hasbi-yallahu laaa i-laha il-la Huwa, aa-lai-hi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rab-bul arshil aa-zeem.

Meaning: Allah is sufficient for me. None has the right to be worshipped but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

Virtue: Verily, for those who place their full trust in their Lord, seeking all good from Him, Allah will send for him help from different sources – be it from people or a change in circumstances.

When total confirmed cases are around 250,000 and total deaths are around 10,000 in 4 months; how can Coronavirus can be compared to plague a deadly disease?
The link I shared above shows some numbers about common flu. Approximately 5 million people get flu and out of those 650,000 die annually. Do we consider that as plague?
compare those numbers to Coronavirus, I am not sure how one can even consider that as plague and then start quoting hadiths to defend closing mosques around the world.
This is the time to fill up the mosques and listen to lectures about death, life after death and our purpose in life. Closing mosques is only turning people away from Allah and putting in their heart fear of Coronavirus instead.
And Allah knows the best!
