Assalamu alaikum warehmatullahi wabarrakatohu
I have been suffering from lots of shirk thoughts lately!
Alhumdullilah I was a practising muslim back then but then I read a status where a Christian claimed his testimony about his faith!
And because I read that I felt I did commit shirk
Since then I started crying and shivering and getting depressed!

Now it keeps on coming in my mind and it's really very very depressing!
I have lost my peace and I am really worried
I do not agree with these thoughts at all and keep crying all the time... But these thoughts just don't go away!

Please try to help me brothers and sisters in Islam!
I had been a practising muslim
But these thoughts are troubling me since 2 months

Assalam o alaikum rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

These are waswas. Just ignore it.

Shaytan loves to toy with people mind.

Just seek refuge with Allah from shaytan, stay in state of wudu, stay away from evil environment and do more good deeds. And ignore the waswas. Pay no attention to it. It is like dog barking at you and you have important task to do but you missed it because you paid attention to that dog. Just an example for you to understand.

Assalam o alaikum rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

You are not accountable for your thoughts in sha Allah, unless you utter it or act upon it.

Shaytan is our enemy. He always try to trick us and mislead us. But he has no authority over believers.

So what you can do is just ignore it and keep seeking refuge with Allah. Seek more knowledge, spending time with family and rightous friends, also do more dikhr and duas as you can much.
