So when someone decides to forgive someone, they have not seen the justice occur...they then decide to forgive that person. Will this person still get the reward for forgiving this person or does it not count to make a difference due to that fact that a person made dua against them in the past? Does forgiving people increase Allah's love for us or do we just get reward for it and getting Allah's love is another matter?
Please answer this and dont ignore

Assalam o alaikum rahamutullahi wa barakuthu

in Islam, it is encouraged to forgive people. Prophet peace be upon him forgave his worst enemies after he peace be upon him captured mecca by will of Allah.

Allah encourages us to forgive and overlook. Quran 24:22

let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Even we should always also show mercy. Allah the Most merciful will be meciful to these who show mercy, a prositute was forgiven by Allah for giving water to a dog. We know that prosituiton is very evil act. yet Allah forgave her, because of her kind act.

it is not allowed to desert a Muslim for more than 3 days. Islam teaches us to have best manner. Prophet peace be upon him was praised by Allah for his manners, and his manner was the Qur'an. So if one wants to have best manner, then he must act upon Quran. Forgiving is one of the best manner.

But Allah is Just Being, He doesn't do injustice. We cannot say anything about His attributes, rather we should believe in Him.

Allah knows best.

Assalam o Alaikum rahamutullahi wa barakuthu.

As your title says "Is my forgiveness accepted?" Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. He even forgives shirk, but only if one makes sincere repentance in this world and not do it again.

Once you make repentance, then you must avoid that sins intentinonally.

Allah knows best.
