Assalamu Alaykum,
I decided I will no longer participate in the forums as I am no longer getting the help I need here. Most of my questions and concerns are ignored. I know it may seem like its annoying or repetitive, but that is why I was here so I could get the help. Whenever I try, people accuse me of having of low iman and tell me the best way to remedy this is to read the Quran. I have read the Quran but I still need opinions of others. My posts get ignored or closed. I still would like to thank those who did try helping me.

My advice to everyone here on this forum, please take the time to post and reply to those who come here. Many people who come are desperate and frustrated. They may not have any other outlets. That one post or reply can make a huge difference. We talk about helping others yet cannot even take the time to help people here

Jazkallah Khayran. May Allah make it easy for all of you.

I feel you, new members like us most likely will be ignored, as for me well I've posted a thread once and I remember only 3 to 4 people answered my question, it was very satisfying really when they gave me rational answers. You need to be patience, it also depends on what type of questions you're asking at, your questions might feel repetitive to some who have read it, so they just give you their "version of quick answers" and then get away with it. It happens on every forum not only this one, premium members who give donations, and those who are on top are dominating the forum, while plebs like us just wait to be showered by their wisdom and popularity. It is unfortunate and sad though, if you have a question, I may be able to answer it for you, but please take a note that I am not an expert in Islam..

You may not seem to receive much help from members here, but you just did help out people by sending a powerfull message to those people out there who lack empathy.
people who have a carefree life and don't know how it feels to be cornered by problems...and do not see a way out. people who think bad things happen to bad people only...or that you must pray/read quraan more and that is the answer to all problems or something.No it is not. Of course people should always pray and read quraan as much as possible...this however does not mean you shouldn't look for rational answers for your problems, learn from others experiences or ask for advise.This thread should be an eye opener to those people.Therefore, thank you very much for your contribution studentofdeed...and I hope you still decide to stay and do not give up hope.May Allah help you with your troubles.Greetings,Ümit

Greetings and peace be with you Studentofdeed;

I am pleased you have decided to stay. You probably do not believe or understand that you are stronger than many of us here. You have to keep dealing with overwhelming problems and thoughts before you can do anything, I am not sure how many of us could cope if we had to live with the things you go through.

May Allah continue to bless you in your struggles,
Eric

I don't think that people are ignoring your questions, I think it is more that they don't have the answer or are afraid to give you the wrong advice. I've read some of your questions that I wanted to answer and have opted to not answer due to not being knowledgeable enough to give you a good answer. Also, this website isn't as active as it once was, internet forums are a thing of the past and struggle to hold on to active members.

You shouldn't expect to get all the answers you want from here either. The majority of the people here are just normal people with a basic understanding of Islam. The best place to find answers is from a scholar, preferably at your local masjid. IslamQA is also a good website that has educated answers with good evidence that backs up many of their fatwas.
