Salaam brother,

You made a mistake. Allah is all-forgiving. Repent for smoking while fasting, may your duaas be accepted. You may fast AFTER the day of Eid to make up for this mistake.

The month of Ramadan is an opportunity for the one who is sincerely resolved and wants to give up this foul, harmful habit of smoking. I think that it is an opportunity because he is going to abstain from it throughout the day in Ramadan, and at night he can distract himself from it by means of the food and drink that Allaah has permitted to him, and by frequenting the mosques and attending gatherings of righteous people, and he can keep away from those who have this habit. If he abstains from it throughout the month, then that will be a great help to him in giving it up for the rest of his life. This is an opportunity which smokers should not miss.

no point crying over spilt milk as they say....

good job you are admitting it and not in denial. admitting you have a problem is probably the first step in overcoming it.

like everybody else says, do isthigfar for your weed bit and for voluntarily invalidating your fast and make up for it with extra ibadaaa.

You could have had a problem much worse affecting not only yourself but others too..... so be grateful this only concerns you. its not the end of the world, stop 'weeding' straight away and stop smoking altogether!

you've somehow found your way into this forum... where everyone is unanimously advised to stay on the straight and narrow, to follow a righteous path, a path of the sunnah, a path that is better for your deen / way of life in this life and the hereafter. Smoking weed and tobacco is bad for your health, what is even worse is voluntarily breaking the fast, high school kids used to do it all the time... you're not in high school are you???

weed is normally smoked by the youth so I'm guessing you are still young in your teens or twenties. Although i know people that are in their forties from my old neighbourhood that still do it and have been doing it for decades... they just lacked the willpower and conviction to stop, lame excuse really... i guess people find it as a temporary escape, similar to those who 'drown their sorrows'

take heed to the advice given to you here by members and then act upon it. do it at your own pace if you have to. if you don't act upon the advice then you will only be denying yourself the help you need....
