I'm a 23 year old high school pass out from india. I changed 3 colleges until finally dropping out the idea of just going to a college. I kept leaving colleges because I didn't feel like going everyday to classes and I barely had friends. People wanted to be my friends but I was uniterested. Now it has been a whole year since I dropped out of my third college and have been sitting at home. The problem is I don't know what I want. I always feel that no matter what I would choose to do I'll fail because my past record has been just this. What ever I do it always turns ugly. I have started praying five times a day and I also prayed five times a day while pursuing my law degree but things just seemed not worth it. The course was easy but I just thought what's the point of studying law when usually it's always the wicked ones that win in the court and I can't turn around talks and sound intelligent.
I don't know what I should do with my life, I tried running a t-shirt business on a very small scale but it didn't gain alot of attention. I've tried learning to code but it's damn hard and tiresome. I just lay on the couch everyday killing time and praying waiting that someday I'll get things right.
Any suggestions what I should do?

Sister keep your intention pure and for the sake of Qllah and he himself and his whole army will help you. Keep your intention good. Do what works well and that does not go against Islam with a clear conscience

Asalaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

My personal advice is to use your time to study Islamic knowledge. Worldly knowledge, like studying law, won't benefit your hereafter nearly as much as religious knowledge will. Religious knowledge will also increase your Imam, bringing you closer to Allah عزوجل.

There are many books, video lectures, online courses. If this catches your interest, pick a topic and إن شاء الله I can help you pick content to learn. If you liked parts of studying law (minus the wickedness), you might like studying Islamic law / fiqh (e.g. what are the rulings around zakaat, what water can you use for wudu, what happens when you don't have access to pure clothing). Other topics include the seerat of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, learning Arabic to be able to read Arabic books (hard, but most original Islamic content is written in either Arabic or Urdu), studying the Quaran in depth, and I could go on forever.

May Allah make the best choice easy for you to come to, and guide you to success in this life and the hereafter.

Not to sound harsh but, is it an issue of laziness? Any work, as long as its halal, is better than sitting around. Sometimes taking jobs you don't care for will open up paths to something better that you would have never expected.

Walaikum Assalam,
Sis its seems you are confused, imaptient, disoriented.( I could be wrong so forgive me)
I dont want to comment on what kind of career you should choose but whatever you choose be consistent otherwise you will never be able to see what potential you have?
You are just 23 so its not late yet.
One thing keep in mind never compromise your values, your relgious duties. And whatever career you will choose, you will always face these clashes of values, religious duties vs career. And sometimes it might seem to you as an obstacle which will hinder you to reach your career heights. And you might not be able to achieve best because you have values and religious duties which you dont want to compromise. You should know how to handle it wisely. Dont waste your time in switiching career. If you want to do sone religious course take it seriously and if you want pursue something else be consistent and make sure it benefits you and society. If you are confuse now you will remain confuse later on in life too.Like after marriage you will be bored of taking responsibilities of kids etc you will be frustrated confuse alll the time.
Please be mindful , do not waste your parents money. You should make some goals like if i drop out of college, I will pay my fees by myself ,with my hard work. I will not waste my parents money.
First take advice from elders or someone who knows what will be good for you.Dont forget to do istikhar before choosing. Lots of video avialable online by islamic scholars too, you can search ittt.
