Ramadan Mubarak everyone,

Hope all of you are doing well this Ramadan.

I would like to ask you concernibg life of Grave.

In Grave will I be questioned in the languages I have mastered? Like for example, will angels ask me in Romananian language such as:

1. Cine e Domnul tau?

2. Cine e Trimisul care Dumnezeu a trimis?

3. Care e Cartea ta?

My answers would be:

1. Domnul meu e Dumnezeu

2. Muhamed este Trimisul lui Dumnezeu

3. Cartea mea este Coranul

Why I said this? Because, I'm capable of responding in Romanian and in English and not in classic Arabic.

So, the question is: will I be interrogated by Angels when I will be in grave in my own mother tongue? Because, I find Romanian language which is my mother tongue to be the most understandable language because it is that language which I was born with and taught about it firstly.

And I translate Allah in Romanian as Dumnezeu, because I have understood that Allah can be translated in English as God because, God can be noun and singular and also Dumnezeu it is a Romanian translation for English term God and Arabic term Allah.

Because, this practically worries me of grave I don't know how to respond in pure Arabic.

Jazakhalakhair.

your soul is older than your age...your soul has been created long before Adam as came to this world...all this time you have been able to communicate with everyone. Romanian and English you have been learning on this world.

What I mean by this is...do not worry about language...you do not need Romanian or English in the afterlife...you will be able to communicate fluently in the afterlife.

Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family

Seeing as though you asked about what happens in the grave, here is a detailed account from Sheikh Bilal Assad, watch it from the 26th minute if you wish, else watch the whole epsiode, or even better watch the entire series, released in 2011, can't believe I did not watch it back then... if only someone told me

I am led to believe that the language is not relevant here, but the answers will be extracted from us. Our souls will be held accountable and the answers extracted from it. According to Bilal Assad if we are bound for hell, Allah swt will not let us even remember..... I believe he refers to the disbelievers who worshipped something that was not Islam (because they would be the only ones who would not be able to answer the 3 or 4 questions correctly).

I cant help but digress so I apologise, but will mention anyway,
as muslims (after leaving the realm of the barzakh i think) we will be punished for our sins inevitably along the way (various punishments) whilst en route to the bridge that is called the seerat..... where the weighing of the good deeds vs bad deeds takes place.

If we have more bad deeds than good, we fall into fire.
If we have more good deeds than bad, we may cross the bridge and approach the gates of Jannah....

The realm of the 'Barzakh' seems a scary place....

Suggest you watch the whole series....

If anyone wants to add to this response, please do so. If anything is inaccurate, please do let us know.

Please remember me and my family in your prayers... Jazak Allah Khair and Barak Allah Feek
