Assalamu alaikum
If a person suffers from extreme waswasa and for getting rid of these if he swears on Allah that these waswasa won't happen will it count as a promise?
If he gets waswasa about stopping a work which is in grey area and he does it always
And gets no harm then he swears on Allah and says that "in whole life he won't do" and pauses to thinking clearly and says "there's no such work in that genre." So is it promise of doing that again or not doing that again?( he again promises that he can do this without harm) so if he does that again will it break the promise or not as he paused on saying that?

Don't make promises u can't keep.
2ndly to get rid of waswasa u need to recite surah al naas. It works
And keep reciting astaghfirullah.
