Assalam O Alaikum WaRahmatullahi WaBarakatuhu,
We live in age and time where stage has almost been set for Dajjal to come. There are many fitnas which we are facing. Media plays very important role to spread the so-called human rights. The mission is to get rid of Islamic values and replace them with Western values. Industrial Age has forced us to put our kids in schools and let the Dajjal forces brain wash them to think in a way they want them to think. As a result, we can see how Muslim culture all over the world is changing. We see that segregation of men and women is common now even in the Muslim countries, Muslim women don’t think hijab and niqab is necessary for them, Muslim men don’t think it is a big deal to shake hands with opposite gender, punishments in shariah law are considered barbaric by many Muslims, young generation don’t even know how to read Quran and those who can read have no clue what it means, many muslims reject Sunnah, and there are some who even reject some verses of Quran. Western values are welcomed in Muslim countries and Muslims in general think that the success of this world is in following western values. As far as life after death is concerned it’s not a big deal because we will go to jannah anyways because we are Muslims ( just like Jews used to think). Those we do try to practice Islam are like strangers in the society. Their own family members laugh at them and every effort is made to make them realize that they are fundamentalists and extremists and there is no room for them in the society. This reminds of the Hadith:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “
Islam began as a something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.”

What is the solution:
Seek knowledge, learn about Islam and stick to Quran and Sunnah. Understand Islam as the first three generations of Muslims understood it. Don’t compromise Islamic teachings for anything. Practice Islam so that you can be a role model for your kids. Try to find practicing Muslims and let them be your only friends. Home school your kids until high school or college to make sure they have a strong foundation and instead of being influenced by the society they can go out and influence others. Use TV and social media only to learn about Islam. Stop watching dramas, movies, even listening to news etc. Be active in your community and make sure we spread awareness of these issues among Muslims. I know it’s not easy but we need to be firm on Islam. No need to be apologetic for Islamic values, seek Allah’s help through prayers and In Sha’a Allah you will find peace and tranquility which can’t be found in any worldly things. As the Hadith said, BE THE STRANGER.
May Allah help us to stay firm on our Deen and May Allah save us and our future generations from all these fitnas! Ameen!
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
