I just wanted to ask, is sufism allowed in islam? There seem to be different perspectives (I.e: the people at Seekers Guidance approve of some forms, but I'm not sure of IslamQandA).
If it is, what tariqa are ahlul sunnah wal jamaah? Is naqshbandi one of them? They say they follow quran and sunnah and avoid bidah, but giving reward of surah fatihah to saints is bidah right? And this too: https://naqshbandi.org/how-to-call/
I kind of wanted to join as having someone to help you with purifying your heart sounded like a good idea. But some things, like Grandshaykhs and the Golden Chain sounded a bit...dodgy ( I was born and raised sunni, btw). I just dunno tho. What do you guys think?

I don,t know how old you are ,but probably best to focus on the basics of islam and education first.
The field of sufism is complex and full of charlatans and charismatic ,but dubious characters.
Make duas for guidance, and let allah lead the way.

start reading the writings of imam ghazalli for now.
