1954: ETHNIC DECLERATIONOn 25th Sept the first prime minister of Burma minister U Nu announced in a radio station at 8:00 PM that “The people living in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships are Rohingya, ethnics of Burma”.
1962: BEGINNING OF GENOCIDEMilitary took over Burma under Gen. Ne Win. The cornerstone of Rohingya Systematic genocide was set.
1978: Exodus ‘78An anti-Rohingya Military Operation known as The Dragon let to the exodus of more than 200,000 Rohingya to Bangladesh.
1982: CITIZENSHIP REVOKEDThe Military government passes a new Citizenship law that delisted Rohingya from Burma’s ethnicity and revoked citizenship.
1991: EXODUS ’91NasaKa (Security Force) anti-Rohingya operation forced to flee more than 250, 000 Rohingya and seek refuge in Bangladesh.
2012: EDGE OF GENOCIDE3rd June from slow burning Genocide to accelerated Genocide started 1000s are massacred, displaced, forced to flee and internally displaced Properties were looted, homes, shops and mosques were burnt. From stateless made homeless.
2016: GENOCIDE ACCELERATEDBy the name of clearance operation in Arakan once again Rohingya were tortured, mass murdered, systematic rape, arbitrary arrest and torching down of 100’s of villages and more than 300, 000 Rohingyas were forced to flee to Bangladesh.
2017: Pre-Planned AttackA Government’s pre-planned and systematic attacks in Northern Arakan left 1000s killed, torching down 400 villages forcing more than 800, 000 Rohingya to Bangladesh.
